I did it once, and had a bigger cheer than when i played the solo proper Can only echo everyone elses sentiments though. There is more waiting around, but in general, the crowds are far more "up for it"

    Bought a bass from Marc Excellent comms. Agreed to meet me half way as i couldnt go the full distance. And the bass was set up exactly as i requested. Couldnt be happier. Cheers

    Sold an Alfonso Iturra 5 string years ago because i didnt get on with 5 strings. Still dont. But for some reason, i REALLY wish i hadnt sold that bass.

    Thanks Alain! Paul 5 - I'm not sure if I'm totally honest. Andy - Thank you very much for all that information. Far more than I knew about the bass. If I played fretless at all I would keep it. But in the years I've had it, I've never found use for it outside of the house. It is FANTASTIC to play though!

    I have had this bass for a while. It was my "just in case" bass. I've played it now and again in the bedroom, but no more. I don't see that changing, and since i have seen another bass i do like, this will help fund that. This is a lovely bass. Looks great, and plays fantastic. Maybe someone else will be able to tell more from it?     Looks like it was destiny then Can you get any sound clips up? How would you compare it to a more modern Fender?

    Surprised to see these. I tried them up at Bass Gear and they are brilliant. I just opted for the S112s. Absolute ridiculous price too. Cracking bit of kit for someone. GLWTS but i dont think you'll need it
