As you can see they are in excellent condition. Barely a mark on either cabinet. One does have a small scuff on one of the corner protectors, but that's all there is. The amp is in very good condition, but does have a small scrape on the top, maybe 4cm long. Doesn't effect the amps performance, but some people like to know about these things. Here is some info on the cabs: BERGANTINO HD112: This is a redesigned version of the classic HT112ER, it retains the clean/smooth detailed highs, from the acclaimed HD tweeter and cross-over, plus tight, smooth mids and plenty of low end that defies it's size. I may have to sacrifice some sound, but i need to keep my back happy Huge savings for these superb, immaculate cabs! They can be shipped abroad at buyers cost. I have had a quote for Europe, and it came to £45 fully insured. So if you're in Europe, i can't see it being much more expensive than that, but i'm happy to check. I welcome trials, and would prefer you to come and have a go, so can can hear how good they are for yourself. Thanks for reading!
2.
it's worth bearing in mind that many manufacturers are... 'optimistic' with their specs.
Very kind choice of word. Hahaha
3. So Bill, sorry if this is a slight derail, if you wanted a Amp with the most volume "out front", what measurement would you be looking at? SPL?
4.
What's the bottom one in the pic ?
Warwick Hellborg i think
5.
You could set to the louder setting during sound-check, then back off the volume knob to 'normal'..? When the need arises, turn up the wick. When no longer required, dial back to 'normal'. Hope this helps.
This is how i do it. Works well for me
6. Never used any TC stuff, but that sounds like a bargain to me!! Nice one. Let us know how you like them after a few gigs!
7. You would have had some overhang with that though Karl
8. I have a '87 streamer, and the neck is incredible. So slim and so easy to play. I will very soon be in the market for a Thumb, and can't wait to get one. I agree Warwicks are like Marmite. But i love them.
9. Could you give an insight into anything you can already play? I think people will be able to give you better suggestions, if they have an idea of the songs you can play, or are learning to play. I'd recommend always trying to learn a song you think will be too difficult, along with others you think you will be able to play. You'll always be working toward something then.
10. Look at it this way, if you get a divorce, you get the chance to re-live your wedding day all over again
11. In the interest of being completely transparent about this, i thought i would post on this thread. I have had a lot of interest in the bass in last two days from folk who would like to try/see/play/buy the bass. I am more than happy with all of the above, but i just want everyone to know i can't hold it for anyone. I need the money from this to buy a bass that is on this forum. So the sooner i get the money, the better. (To ensure i can get the bass i want before it sells) As such, first person who has the money to paid to my bank account, or to put the money in my hand, the bass is theirs. I dont want anyone to think there is anything underhand going on. That is the situation Cheers
12. They will indeed be chuffed to buggery haha. Yeh, really sorry about that Scott, that trade would've suited me perfectly also. Cheers for the comments guys. PMs replied
13. I was waiting for "chicka chicka slim shady..." Maybe that won't make sense to you, and if that is the case i apologise! Welcome
14. Afraid not sorry Marc. I know exactly what i want, so i'm going to hold out for that. No problems in you asking though, i just hate being a party pooper I am concerned that once you've got your hands on it, you may be looking to sell a kidney
15. The Roots - The Seed 2.0 Really simple bassline, but i love it Edit: Anything By Jamiroquai with Stuart Zender at the helm had groove IMO
16. Cheers Gents, very kind of you. Few offers, but this is still here
17. Maybe send him a picture of a bass that has a level of relicing you'd be happy with? Wouldn't be any confusion as to what you wanted then surely?
18. I had a Big Twin T No cab I've ever used has been louder.
19. No probs mate. Very helpful bunch here, so if you have any questions, just ask. Yeh say hello to Jon from me. He will know me as kert, or big chris though
20. The first band i really got into was Nirvana. Probably about 11 or 12, rather than 7 though. They got me into playing music. Definitely. But i didn't ever worry about what gear i had. I was just happy to be playing something that sounded like my favorite band! I think my first bass was a Tanglewood? Maybe. So i'd have to say no. Come to think of it, i'm still not really sure what gear Krist used?! And it's not the genre i play or listen to out of choice anymore.
21. Hi mate and welcome. My tips would be get a bass tutor. Done that. Second tip, go to Jon Caulfield. Done that. You're ahead of the game! I had lessons with Jon for over 10 years. Best about IMO. Just don't tell him i said that
22. Yeh lovely bass. Should you ever consider trades, let me know aswel
