1. The SWR MM pre amp i run sounds great with the Bergs i have (HD112 & HD210) I'm not selling it anymore, so this isn't self promotion! You are more than welcome to try my SWR out though
 2.
His forehead is now very closely mic'd and making some very strange noises. Still frantically playing behind the obliviously-thrashing guitarist, I try and right the mic stand with a foot. The stand is now mic'ing the drummer's shoulder.
Hahaha that made me laugh. Best and worst thing thats happened to me - We were 16 or 17 in a punk/rock/pop kind of band. First gig and we were getting hyped up to really go for it. Drummer clicks us in, and we start, overly enthusiastic, running and jumping anywhere there is space. Before the four bar intro ends, we somehow manage to blow a fuse and everything goes dead apart from the drums. Still dont know what happened. Highly embarrassing at the time. But later we kind of got known for being the band that played so hard we blew the fuses! Even though thats utter tosh, it still makes me smile. Incidentally, Bullet for my valentine, before they were called bullet for my valentine were headlining that gig. I think if we hadnt blown the fuses we would be multi millionaires like they are now
 3. I would say this could point to your overall technique. Does your arm move at the shoulder when your slapping? Because the movement should all be at your wrist. Pronating and supinating. Im not sure if these terms are relevant for the wrist, but basically what i mean is your wrist should "roll" towards your body, and away from your body. You dont need to move at the elbow or the shoulder. Obviously there will be some movement there, as your not a statue, but it shouldnt be a purposeful movement to acheive the "slap and pop" If you feel you are doing this, and your shoulder is still giving you "flashes", you may have problems with your back..... Fingers crossed its not your back though
 4.
So, no trade for a Markbass SD1200 in perfect conditions and working order with bag? I'm in Italy
Sorry i didnt notice your post. No, thats not a trade id be interested in, but thanks for your offer. Im going to keep this now as i dont think ill be able to get anything anywhere near as good for the same price. So mods, can you close this please? Thanks
 5.
if my dingwall sells i may be tempted
Shame your in Northern Ireland, or you would have been most welcome to give it a trial. Like many have been kind enough to say, I think whoever does get this will be very happy

 7.
Dont withdraw yet i have a cunning plan .....
Hahaha ok, am i allowed to be in on it?
 8. Id buy another pair of Bergs. Best sound from any cab i've had. And id try and find a way to get my SWR Pre amp and power amp in a smaller package, because that is my only complaint with it. Again, love the sound. I have a Genz 6.0 as my backup that is great aswel. Just doesnt get a look in, so i'd hope that it was the Genz that got stolen i suppose!!
 9. Bump for a top quality pre amp and power amp setup

 11. Last price drop, then I'll withdraw and keep it £700. Bargain!

 18.
p.s. is the V - VII - IV thing relevant to chord this? sorry if that sounds daft, I never learned what those were...
This is referring to the order in which the notes of a given scale are played. For example if the song is in Cmajor, then "V - VII -IV" would be G (5th note in Cmajor scale) - B (7th note in CMajor) - F (4th in C Major) Hope that makes sense
