1. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled in the sales section. Or if you are aware of someone who would be up for it, send them my way
2. Yeh I'd be open with a trade with someone so they can match.
3. What is the difference with the GB6.0 and 6.2? Yes they are definitely warmer than other cabs I've had
4. Weekend bump Any trade plus cash adjustments are welcomed Must be class D though
5.
Genz Shuttle and Streamliner models both work very well with the HD cabs.
I will definitely be trying to find both to have a go of
6. The Walter woods is way more than I want to spend, although it's always nice to dream. I've spoke to Pete and Brian about the other 2 you mentioned. I liked the look of both. Just a case of trying to shift what I have now to get the cash
7. Just a case of selling my SWR pre amp now, and I can start trying a few out
8. I am thinking about ringing mark to sort me out a matching jazz
9. Cheers Barrie. I do prefer not having to fiddle too much to get a sound I like. I would like to try a thunder funk, but I doubt that's going to be possible. And I don't want to buy without having a go first.
10. Great job. Can tell you've put a lot of attention to detail. Looks quality Angel. If you do decide on doing relics for others, let me know. I have just the bass in mind
11. Mmmmmmmmm. Anyone in South Wales with a Thunderfunk? Any other suggestions to try? Ive never tried a Genz, and have always fancied a dabble
12. Yeh makes sense. Definitely one to consider, my trouble might be finding one to have a play around with.
13. Which version of the Thunderfunk would you suggest? I worry the 550 may not have enough oomph? But i have no experience so could well be wrong
14. Ok, so im going to keep the Bergs i have. Feel like i was giving them away at the prices i was offering and still wasnt really getting any interest. The reason I was thinking about selling was due to weight and difference in size between the 210 and 112 i have. The sound was never the problem. Looking at the weight, they probably weigh 5kg more than what i wouldve replaced them with, so realistically, i feel i should stop whining and just lift them! So your in my position. You have a HD112 and a HD210, both with tweeters (dont know if thats standard), what amp would you run them with? The 210 is 400w @ 8 ohms and the HD112 is 350W @8ohms. The SWR pre amp i have is immense. It probably has too much on it for my liking, and is a little too large. I suffer bass related OCD!! Apparently its not as rare as i originally feared. So i want something class D really. And i plan on driving about a bit to try a few heads out and see what sounds best. Any of you have/had this set up? Any recommendations on what what sit well with the Bergs? Thanks in advance
15.
Ah, so that's where it ended up!! Is that the custom order for someone else that Mark recently had advertised on his site? Looks amazing.
It is indeed the custom order he had up on his site. Yeh, id say to keep saving. You wont be dissapointed!
16. Last Price Drop, and these will be going on EvilBay on Sunday £380 for 112 - These are £550 brand new without a cover £400 for 210 - These are £625 brand new, without a cover Both of the speakers im selling are in excellent condition, they look brand new. And both have covers which cost £50 extra. Last chance to snap them up
17. That's interesting. I've been thinking about a TH. Had a go at low volume, so couldn't tell how loud it would go. Any opinions from a TH500 users?
18. I have 4. A Limelight P A Warwick Streamer '87 (P+J) A Silver Series Squier Jazz A Farida Jazz Fretless Dont need /want anymore. For the minute anyway
19.
bashed me in the shines

Is that a euphemism?
20. I have my eye on something, so i need this gone quickly. Huge Price Drop, now £750 Price wont go lower than this. Heres a few pictures of the heads: Looks good lit up when your gigging In my opinion this is professional level gear. And its in mint condition. Hardly a blemish on it. So many options on it, i wouldn't know where to start to explain. There are some good demo videos of it done by Marcus Miller on youtube. Have a look here: https://www.youtube....h?v=eHOjZbkYsO0 Here is the link to the SWR Spec page. I tried to copy the table, but was having trouble http://www.swrsound....ller-preamp.php This will be sold with the gator rack case it currently sits in. It doesn't have the footswitch. I think i have reflected that in the price. Weighs about 19kg. This is only a estimate on the bathroom scales. I wont split it. Its a cracking sounding unit as it is. I am looking to replace this with the Aguilar Tonehammer 500, and a pair of SL 112s, so those are the only trades id consider, with cash my way, depending on what you have i suppose. All questions welcomed, as are any trials. Cheers Kert
21. PRICE DROP £400 for 112 £425 for 210 All trials welcomed and preferred so you can hear how good these are
22. Have you got any recording gear? Garage band?Pro Tools? A Line 6 pod of some kind? If not, then one way of doing it, that is probably most accessible, is to actually film yourself on your phone. I know this isnt ideal, as the speakers wont carry the full spectrum of sound, but like has been said, its only going to sound like your rig anyway. Maybe if he just wants to hear it in action, this will do?
23. Yeh you seem to have handled it well. A lot calmer than i could've managed. Good work. If i ever need to chuck someone from our band, do you take cheques?
