1. I havent had this very long. My complaint is not with the sound, or how lightweight it is or any of those other things barefaced cabs are known for. This speaker is ridiculously loud, and extremely lightweight for its size. If you are looking at this advert theres every chance you know how good these are. Its too much for what i need, and the size of it, along with having a baby, and all the gear that entails, (baby seats, prams, moses baskets etc) means that transporting this to gigs and practice is more difficult than i would of hoped. So im looking to go back to 2 cabs. Im open to all trade offers, aslong as they are of comparable value. If the right bit of kit is offered, im wiling to put a bit of money towards the deal also. Id really be interested in Aguilar gear. Ive played through it before and loved it. But im by no means exclusively looking for Aguilar. Pictures and spec can be found on the previous advert. I hope SharkFinger doesnt mind. That can be found here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/239192-fs-barefaced-big-twin-t-sold/page__p__2477858#entry2477858 I can post this at buyers cost, itll be about £40. So...what you got?
 2. They dont come around very often Marc, but i have see one other very similar on here. If i do see/hear of another, ill let you know
 3. No its not a special edition or anything like that. Quite rare on the 2nd hand market though. I think i may have mentioned that it was made in the time when they were hand built? The quality of the builds seemed to drop in the 90's, just my opinion of course. The build quality definitely seems to have improved again now though
 4. That would be me I got the date wrong though. Its an '87 Warwick streamer, not an '83. If you ever need to have another trial of it before splashing out, let me know. Kert
 5. Lay Down by Priestess is a good one. My guitarists suggestion to play. No too hard to play, but definitely tricky in parts. Its a "Guitar hero" classic apparently. Does seem to go down well to be fair!
 6. Just completed a trade with Oli. Was set up and completed within two days. Oli was kind enough to make the journey down to mine.cheers mate!! Credit to basschat!
 7. Im in South Wales. All trials welcomed if your passing by, or even just want to come down to have a go. Chuck, ive never been someone to worry too much about fret spacing and neck width and diameter and the such. Im 6ft 3 so i have fairly big hands so,and this is only my opinion, but when you are talking mm, i really feel it doesnt make much difference. That being said, it feels similar to my Warwick. But i have a 83 streamer, and that is defnitely slimmer in profile to my Fender P. So probably not much help to you! Send me a PM and maybe we can swap numbers and you can ask whatever your heart desires
 8. I do agree, I think when this was originally listed by the previous owner it was up for £1000. But this is the price i paid for it off this forum so i dont feel i can ask for more. In saying this though, its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it isnt it? Had no trade options yet, which is surprises me. This is a custom made quality instrument.... no love for it?
 9. All Warwicks and Dingwalls will also be considered for trade, regardless of Pickup configuration. Cash adjustment from my way isnt a problem for the right bass
 10. This bass is up for trade. Although im willing to sell it too. Alot of this advert is the same as the previous one, hope sweeneythebass doesnt mind. Heres some of the spec: Olympic white Maple Neck Bass weight 4.5 kg / 10.54lbs Top Nut width : 42mm String spacing at Nut: 10mm String Spacing at Bridge: 19mm 20 Frets Scale length: 32'' Gold hardware Jon Shuker Pickups Jon Shuker 2 band Active EQ Itll come with a Shuker branded hiscox hardcase and fitted Dunlop straplocks. I dont use this, because i prefer the sound of a Precision type of set up. So that is the trade im looking for. Any kind of P set up will be considered. P, PJ ,PM, PP, whatever you have send it over and ill have a look. Heres some pictures:

11. Ended up getting a bx700. Haven't used it in practice yet, but sounds great great coming through my big twin T. Can't wait to gig it now
 12.
loved this program, hated the parts with the edge, although it is funny when he gets lost in his effects board! jack and jimmy are the stars of that show!
Couldnt agree more.
 13. I was really impressed. I thought his playing and singing was really tasteful. Maybe i was more impressed because i originally thought he was awful?! Im not on about when he was using that red plastic thing though!!haha. Cant remember the particular song, but he was singing and playing it to the other two.
 14. Put this on to watch last night and it was really enjoyable. Jack White, the Edge and Jimmi Page talking about what got them into the guitar, and what they were thinking when trying to get certain sounds in their records etc. I didnt have much interest in Jack White before this. Just thought it was kind of a gimmicky pop act when he was with the White Stripes. He's actually a really talented blues guitarist, and has a really good blues voice. Like the oldest type of blues. His favorite ever song, which he compared the sound he was trying to get, was a "Son House" song called "grinning in your face". Suddenly everything made more sense! Brilliant interview with Jimmi Page was shown , from when he was in school. He was playing in a skiffle band on tv and afterwards the presenter asked him if he wanted to carry on being a skiffle player, when he got older. "no sir, i want to be a biological scientist". Brilliant. Anyone see it? Highly recommended.
 15. Ive got an '87 streamer. Its an amazing bass. My favorite ive ever had. Think Jon C was a fan too. Although i would quite happily swap for his Sei. Would like to compare it to one of the MiK ones though. Mr Fretbuzz, any chance you could bring it to the south wales bass bash?
