1. I think its a two band EQ. Im not 100% on that though, ill check it when i get in from work. Its like i said, ive hardly played it, so im not really sure!
2. Yeh those are pictures Scooby/Pete has uploaded to photobucket when making a sale. It did have the Shuker, but now it has the Status. I have pictures of the bass to send. If youd like me to forward them to you, just let me know Thanks
3. yeh i mentioned i dont know how to post pictures, but if you sent me your email, id be happy to send some onto you Cheers
4. I got this bass off Scooby/Pete so i hope he doesnt mind me using parts from his advert. The bass is a Custom super Jazz, burl walnut drop top on an ash body, birdseye maple neck and fingerboard, custom wound pick-ups, knobs: vol, vol, bass treble, 34" scale, 40mm at top nut and 45mm at 12th fret. The neck profile is the slim jazz style and the bass is set-up to perfection. The weight it approx 3.8 kilos and balances really nicely. The bass comes with a new gig bag. This bass is mint, is only a months old, has never left the house and is just a dream to play. The new price for a custom build like this from Jon is in excess of £1850 depending upon the spec. Im selling it because i dont get a chance to use it anymore, and i feel, just sitting there, its going to waste.Feel free to offer up any sensible trades. I want £1000 for the bass. Like i said, its mint and is worth that much! If anyone wants to pop in for a play of it, thats fine too! ~Cheers edit: pics now added, thanks Luke
5. Just completed a Shuker trade. Great comms, great guy. Made the whole trade very easy. Do not hesitate to deal with Pete Thanks mate

Its pretty cheap!
7.
Making videos of my recovery has been very useful over time because it seems veryyyyy slow bit by bit but seen over time you really see the the difference.
Yeh, ive had friends who have found making videos of their rehab useful because: 1) It gives you the motivation to keep trying to improve 2) Because it can be a slow process, im sure there are days when you'll feel like your not improving, one look at past videos and youll see how far you've come. Then hopefully motivate you to keep on going again! Dont have to make them public though of course
8. I on the other hand dont play with a pick, so cant offer any useful advice other than maybe start off with a lighter gauge pick? That would probably take less tension to strum with. The reason i posted here though..... Good to hear your getting better mate, and glad to see you still have an appetite for the sonic lows! Could maybe do a video blog/diary kinda thing once a month to show how progress goes? Obviously if this is a little more effort than you want to do, no worries, but im sure there'd be a good few people interested in seeing you playing again!
9.
Songwriting - done at low volume normally at my house. Either the guitarist or myself has a rough idea for a song chord sequence or riff. Mr Venom goes through his stack of lyrics looking for something to fit and we get the bare bones or the song together. Full band rehearsal. Here we work on two things. A quick run through any songs that seemed sloppy at the last gig to tighten them up maybe concentrating on specific parts that appear to need more work. Then work up the ideas from the most recent songwriting rehearsals into full band arrangements. There will normally be 2 or 3 songs that are at various stages of development before being ready to gig.
This is similar to what my cover band do. Two a fortnight usually. One where we all get together and go through any new songs acoustic stylee. This, like you said, avoids having people working out something to play when a full rehearsal happens. Its the acoustic practice where any new riffs are played and worked on, or any new cover ideas are brought up and worked on. When the (paid for) full rehearsal happens, we go through any songs that wernt 100% tight as we'd of liked from the last gig, as the warm up. Then work on the new stuff, which we have already good a fairly good understanding of, so its only really tweaking, rather than full on organising who plays what etc. Saves time, money, and my ears!
10. Thats just my personal favourite. The best bass ive ever played was a Sei. Im sure some others will have other opinions, but if i had the option of ANY bass, thats where id go. Let me know what you think
11. If its a "dream bass", think big. Go for a Sei!! Oooooooooooofffffffff! Suits you sir
12. Close enough to give him a slap if he starts speeding up or slowing down though right?
13. I like the funky dance kind of stuff. Reckon that could sound wicked if you get the right musicians together. Id go for a female vocalist aswell.Think it would suit the music better. If nothing else itll be easier on the eye Think my favourite is bustin king cobra
14. I was looking for the kind of band your looking for on that site for a long time. Never did come up

Yo!

Nice to have you on here mate. Cool band you got going on there too! Kert
16. Peter was great to deal with. Communication was easy even though he is working in Sweden. We traded items with some cash coming from his way, and i noted the cash was paid before id even asked! Felt confident enough to send my item to Peter, before he was able to send mine, so that it would be available to him to take back to Sweden. No problems at all! Deal with confidence. Thanks Peter Kert
17. Yeh i agree, if they ask you gotta do it. Doesnt mean you gotta like it though! As for the guitarist, just give him a slap
18. Sorry, my bad, rushed that response and made a muck up! monday morning is my only excuse
19. Andy, i dont know how to work this in the "proper way", but the Dorian is a Minor with a flattened 2nd. Before i go on to try explain further, is this what you were asking?
20. I can see what your saying, but if you are doing solo work, as he mentioned above, its there for you at a glance. Im sure it will come in useful for me anyway. Cheers Aiden
