2. Smooooth transaction from a smooooth kinda fella
 3. Great thread I had a mate who went travelling in new zealand about three years ago. She used to ring me up all the time when she was pissed to tell me about her adventures. One night she rings me and tells me shes pulled this rugby player. Ok, no biggie here, there are plenty of rugby players in NZ. She says i might of heard of him... Dan Carter ..... Shed just pulled the "beckham" of NZ rugby and had no idea, and had been talking me up as someone whod played for South Wales under 15s at rugby!! Lets just say i was mortified when he came on the phone and started asking me about my rugby career!! Very kind of him to pretend he cared! and whatever.....ive talked to Dan Carter!!
 4.
Thanks Andy ! ... it's now SOLD !
Happy to hear you got the sale mate Kert
 5. After consulting with the former owner of this bass we have realised there has been a small mistake with this advert. Like i said, i used Davids advert for the bass, not realising he sold two very similar!! The description is nearly all correct. It weighs 8lb 2oz (scales test), and it does have OHSC. It is in immaculate condition. The 'extras' (even the rubber strip, mounted beneath the bridge cover !) are not there though! This is the only part of the advert that is inaccurate. That and there is no damage to the laquer! Apoligies in advance Kert
 6.
a perfect bass
cheers! i agree, its great. i have another one (normal jazz) thats going nowhere!
 7. Good quality vids. great playing and great tone!!! but i agree with the gent up the top, if i was using these lessons as a tool for my development id prefer a bit more playing, earlier on. Maybe leave each video with a really basic riff to learn befor ewatching the next one? Hope you dont think of this as negative criticism, its like i said, i thought the vid/playing/tone was great throughout!
 8.
Maple or rosewood board? Presumably natural body?
Its in the pictures above now. Thanks to Johngh for the help!
 9.
Interested in some pics for sure
Whats your email address my friend? Can PM it to me if youd like, or leave it on here?
 10. I have a Fender (USA) Vintage 75 Re-issue. This has been a great bass for me, i just fancy a change! I bought it of David (eubassix) in June '10 and its been well looked after, and is same in the same condition as i got it in. I hope David doesnt object, but ive used the details from his old post, and here they are: Details (Specs.) can be found on the USA/UK Fender website and the various online outlets (GAK etc.) who sell this bass. Only flaws are that the lacquer has chipped where the bridge pickup (screws) were fixed (maybe over-tightened) and some fine/superficial wear on the neck pickup cover But it's an excellent example and by far the lighest I've tried at about 8lbs !! It's 99/00 but could pass for this year (!). OHSC and most if not all of the 'extras' are there (even the rubber strip, mounted beneath the bridge cover !) As for trades, i have nothing in particular in mind, but im looking to sell this bass for around £850. Id also be willing to put a little money in should the right bass come up. So make me an offer Kert

C
Still interested in a trade? I have an ibanez BtB that id trade with cash coming from my way? Let me know Kert

 16.
End of the day mate its your bass and you can sell it for what you like regardless - on here its going to be well researched before purchase, you'd be a moron to fork out £1400 on a whim or you'd have to have a soft spot for it. It says the bass was sold in July this year, so there won't be a great change anyway. You don't want an opinion, don't ask for it.
I asked an opinion on how much people thought it was worth in the current market. It wasnt me who mentioned £1400. I just didnt see why you needed to say whoever pays £1400 for this is a moron, and that you didnt like the colour. Understandable? Certainly didnt intend to cause any trouble. Sorry if it seems that way. Im well aware people will research it, and this is the whole reason im asking. If i did sell, id want it to be a fair price.
 17.
If its second hand, £1400 is too steep - I would just buy a custom shop one and look past yours. Despite being a lovely bass, I don't like the natural ones.
Lol, cheers for giving people an alternative, when im only looking for an estimate of how much its worth!
 18.
How much was the item you traded?
I cant honestly remember. About £1k mark. Ive swapped a lot of basses, so cant remember for definite, which one i swapped for this. But after time value changes doesnt it? Depending on how sought after they are? Thats kind of what im trying to gauge
 19.
Realistically, if you bought it here, it's worth what you paid for it. Jon.
I didnt buy it. It was a trade, so i thought id ask what they are worth now, to get a general idea
 20.
£5...ill take it...but seriously there £1400 + now..never seen this color combo on a 75 RI....you have a very desirable bass, especially in TTS...its not easy to say but i would put it up for £1000 and see where it goes..this may seem steep but its a rare color and people will pay... its a buyers market, but when you got a bass like that, the balance tips somewhat... to be honest im fed up with seeing people having to sell basses so cheap.... any pics?
Yeh,i have a load of pictures, but they are in an email. Like i said, ive no idea how to get them up on here sorry. Can forward the email if youd like a peek though pm me an address if your keen. Thanks for the advice too, much appreciated!
 21. Im not sure where the right place to post this is, so if it is in the wrong area, i apoligise Anywhos......I have a 75Ri Fender jazz. MiA. Case is original (G&G) but there are no 'extras' (not sure if the chrome covers were included with this early model, but they're not there now).Bass is in exceptional condition for year ('99) and plays really great. I was looking to see how much people thought these are worth now as im looking to get a 5 string. Its quite rare in the 3Ts/burst, and was previously owned by Eubassix. Still in exactly the same condition as i had it off him, its been well looked after! I have got pictures of it, but dont know how to put them up on here (such a luddite) . i can however email them if needed. Thanks in advance for any help i may get! Kert
