3. Ditto with essexcat! I've got the WT800, would love the same sound in this more portable package! Best of luck with the sale man
4. Quick mention, the bridge was a replacement one, its a Glaesel (a french company I believe). I'll confirm this later, but I think it was fitted by the chaps at Peterborough Music.
5. I'm in a village just outside Bridlington on the East Coast, between Scarborough and Hull. People are welcome to come have a look and play
6.
A Great Aunt that plays bluegrass? Marvellous!!
Well....she did! I'm really surprised how she managed to play....the things twice the size of her! lol
7. Hey Guys I'm putting this up on behalf of my Great Aunty and Uncle, as they're not very 'internet-savvy'. What we have here is 3/4 size DB, made in Reghin, Romania. My Uncle told me it was made between 1940 & 1950 (if I remember rightly). It was mainly used as a bluegrass instrument by my auntie. Branding I am very unsure on, as I have looked and cannot find much information on it :/. I'll let the pictures do the talking to be fair. My uncle stated he wanted £650 for the bass with softcase, bow and spare strings. Local pickup only due to the size

11. Whilst clearing some things in my home studio (erm....bedroom lol), I found this little box. Bought it last year when I was still playing guitar for a band. Its a alright little box....does what it says on the tin. Comes with a cool second out to go to a mixer so no need for a amp. Saying they're about £40 brand new, how about £15 plus P+P?
12. Dibbs if OldG doesn't want it
13. Seriously?! Not one?!
14. Hey guys Currently looking to start taking some lessons to up my game a bit. As always, I seem to lack the discipline to kick my own arse into a practice routine, and am kinda after that motivation to improve! I'm currently located in Bridlington, but after looking on the web for local bass tutors, the closest I got was Leeds/Bradford way :/ Anyone know of one closer? Joe
15. Recently posted a wanted ad for a barefaced compact and John replied the same day. His pricing was very fair, and his photography skills are second to none Communication was great throughout and the item turned up exactly as he stated. Couldn't ask for a better seller Cheers again John Joe

20. After umm'ing and ahhh'ing for god knows how long, I've decided to part with my nemesis cabs and go ultra 'compact' and head for a barefaced cab. The reason isn't due to dislike of the nemesis sound, it couldn't be further from the truth. The cabs sound amazing coupled with my WT800, I get complemented about the sound quite often (which is always nice, as it makes up for the naff playing ). The reason I'm changing is because I'm just after a smaller rig - simple enough, but until I downgrade my eden head (may get the WT400 eventually), I want a powerful, lightweight 8ohm cab (hence the barefaced compact ). Enough about that, on to the cabs! The 2x10's - BOTH SOLD The 2x10's are both 4ohm cabs rated at 300w. The 2x10's have been gigged quite regularly within the last 18months, so there is the expected light carpet scuffing. I have used them for a variety of styles and they have always produced. The only downside to one of the cabs is that one of the handles has cracked, due to a idiot guitar playing standing on it when clambering over in the back on the van. The handle itself is still reliable and strong, its more of a aesthetic issue. Heres the specification for the 2x10's:- Nemesis NSP210 Bass Cabinet Specifications: * Tweeter: T2004 * Speakers: 2 x ES 1040XL8 * Crossover: 3kHz @12 dB * Power Handling: 300W RMS * Frequency Response: 35Hz - 18kHz ±2dB * Sensitivity: 102dB SPL@1W1M * Impedance: 4 ohms * Dimensions: 24-3/4"W x 16-1/4"H x 16-1/4"D * Weight: 40 lbs. * Inputs: 1/4 Jack and Speak-on These are £160 plus postage for the normal cab, and £150 plus postage for the one with the cracked handle. BOTH PROVISIONALLY SOLD - PENDING PAYMENT The 15 - ON HOLD PENDING SALE I've had this cab since November, with the intention of replacing the speaker with a 4 ohm cab so I could run a 2x10 with it. Unfortunately, Xmas, MOTs and the girlfriend seemed to get in the way . This cab is in great cosmetic condition. Although I never got to gig with it, I used it at various practices and was as pleased as I was with the 2x10's. It kept up with the rest of the band volume-wise(2 guitarists and a drummer) as well as retaining a decent quality tone. Here's the spec:- * Tweeter: T2004 * Speakers: ES15608 * Crossover: 3kHz @12 dB * Power Handling: 250W RMS * Frequency Response: 38Hz - 18kHz ±2dB * Sensitivity: 100dB SPL@1W1M * Impedance: 8 ohms * Dimensions: 24-3/4"W x 17-1/4"H x 16-1/4"D * Weight: 32 lbs. * Inputs: 1/4 Jack and Speak-on I'm after £120 plus postage for this one. Local pickup is ok (obviously with prior arrangement) or I can deliver up to 50 miles for fuel money. Any Q's don't be afraid to give me a holla yes....i just put a pirate face. Joe
