1. Tis a nice bass indeed What cash price did u have in mind? Cheers Joe
 2. Hey guys I've just invested in a nemesis 15" cab and am looking to make it my main cab. I want to put a new speaker in there as 250 watts rating ain't nearly enough! I'm looking for something that's a good all round speaker for all styles (play in a few different bands). I'm not too bothered if it's neo or not, my backs still relatively good a high output rating though @8ohm is essential (600 upwards) Cheers guys
 3. Damn....what a bargain! U sure u won't post this lot? If u change your mind, can I have first refusal?
 4. how much for the cab on its own?
 5. I'm currently running a WT800A through a pair of Eden 210's, and the sound of it is beautiful. Its punchy whilst retaining clarity. I often use a sansamp in my signal chain to give that bit of grit, as the Eden pre-amps are very clean. In terms of reliability, the fan on kept on packing in after playing it quite hard. On the second time visiting my local engineer, he revealed to me that in the circuit board for the fan was this ceramic resistor. The weird thing though was that it was mounted solder side, not component side. It also didn't sit flush against the board, it was dangling. This meant if the amp got knocked slightly, it was weakening the solder points on the resistor. my engineer ended up araldite'in a wedge underneath so it sat flush against the bottom of the case, not giving it any room to move. Since then, I have not had a single problem! In my opinion, the eden amps can be of extremely high quality, I just feel the QC may a bit slack on some days. There we go...theres my 2 cents
 6. Tired at work, cant be arsed going to next job, Friday afternoon BUMP
 7.
Maybe I`m not understanding your situation correctly but as far as I know and according to Eden`s manual the WT 500/600/800 heads only go down to 4 ohms per side.Hopefully I`d like to think this will help, and not complicate things for you ( sticking my oar in!) regards
What I fink chenzo's situation is that he has 2 x 4ohm cabs, and with the wt-800a, you can run it in either 8ohm mono bridged, or 4 ohm a side dual mono, which would accommodate his cabs. Chenzo, you will have a PM shortly
 8. got a idea of cash price?
 9. Friday the 13th Bump!
 10. For last six weeks, ive been listening to the demos for the new Aguilar Agro distortion stompbox with proper envy....a distortion pedal that seems to sound amazing whatever setting! The only downside at the moment is that I've hardly found any reviews, and I fink I've only found 2 UK retailers selling it! Was wondering if anyone from the BC community has one, and what their thoughts on the pedal were before i took the plunge!

 12. Hey guys Just come home from a busy weekend of gigging (actually giggin this afternoon as well!) so I thought I'd ask for some advice. Whilst playing duck and drake in leeds last night, my eden head overheated and went into 'safety' mode where it cut out the backline feed so cool the amp down, protecting the valve. That was all well and good, but at the time I havent got it DI'd into the PA, as the venue was quite small and i wasnt driving the amp hard....at all! The reason it overheated was due to the massive amount of close range lighting the venue had, so during a song I had to DI my sansamp while the guitarist solo'd. The second set I hid my head behind my cabs to keep it in the shade. Right...my question! Do any of you have any advice on how to cool down the amp? Maybe some sort of liquid cooling system or maybe some fans to mount in a amp rack?
 13. would of had this in a heartbeat...if u werent so god damn far away :/
 14. any better pics dude?
 15. I'm so gas'in for this! The Eden may hit the eBay this week...
 16. Hey guys Going back to my roots, I went to the Slam Dunk fest @ Leeds uni to listen to a good bit of pop punk and ska. As expected, there was a lot of skinny jeans and tattoos, but there was also a lot of top acts! All the bands I saw used various 810 cabs. Whether they be Ampeg, Mesa or Orange, they all had a great sound to them, especially the combination of a Orange AD200b with the Mesa Powerhouse 810. Joe Weiss from Four Year Strong used this combination with a 75' American RI jazz....amazing tone! I've now decided I want to go back to a big rig, get that massive sound without having to constantly DI. So heres my question....810 or 2 410 cabinets? What are peoples preferences
 17. Damn!!!! Why won't my macbook sell!!!! I've been after this exact bass for donkeys years! Good luck with this man, doubt it'll be here for long at that price!
 18.
We did some tracks with a proper producer/engineer in a proper studio who's worked with people even I have heard of on Saturday and it was really hard full on work. We got what the producer called extremely rough mixes on Monday and all felt a quite down hearted. Although the instruments sounded great tonally and the mix and quality was miles ahead of anything we've previously done we could hear all the little bits where we a gnats out of time and fixated on that. It's Thursday now and all I can hear is some good songs that will get even better once he's done his magic on them. The couple of timing issues will easily be fixed with pro tools magic apparently. I'm dead chuffed now with what we did. All I could hear when I first listened was the bit where I was a millisecond late on one intro and then I went stone deaf. Just really putting this out as a warning to take time to reflect after you've done a recording that's out of your comfort zone.
That seems to be a common occurrence with recording musicians. If you're on the clock payment wise, you've got to make every take count, and when you hear back the next day, you seem to be able to pick out the flaws in your playing, however small. The engineer is right though. If its only a slight timing issue, using pro-tools elastic-time function will allow him to shift the note back into time without any degradation of the sound. Some people may call it cheating, but for the small time band, its perfect
 19. Hey guys Just moved back from uni so currently getting rid of the stuff I can't fit into my room back home anymore! For sale I've got a bunch of [s]10[/s] 11 Bass Guitar Magazines, and a random Bass Player (US) magazine. Bass Guitar Magazine:-

Jan/Feb 2007 - Paul Turner/5 String Shootout
Mar/Apr 2007 - Victor Wooten/The Killers (Not Pictured)
Sept/Oct 2007 - Rickenbacker 4000 Special/ Tony Levin
Nov/Dec 2007 - Punk Issue
Mar/Apr 2008 - NAMM 2008/ Fender Jazz & Precision Review
Mar/Apr 2009 - 2009 Winter NAMM Report/Wooten & Clarke
June 2009 - The Killers/Dave Swift
July 2009 - Janek Gwizdala/Session Player Feature
August 2009 - Elbow/ Les Claypool
Sept 2009 - Doug Wimbish/Geezer Butler
November 2009 - Richard Bona/Chris Wolstenholme
Bass Player magazine:-

Nov 2009 - Chris Wolstenholme/ Victor Bailey
I'm looking for £20 inc shipping for the lot. I'd rather not split because it'd be a lot of hassle and a lot more expensive sending each magazine individually. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to give us a holla Joe
 20. The cabs aren't particularly quiet, its the fact that my band are stupidly loud! The guitarist always thinks that he's too quiet, and so after soundcheck, pumps his volume up. And the drummer just wants to be the centre of attention, so he competes with the guitarist for volume. It was ok when I used my 810, but they complained about it's weight, so I opted for the lightwave counterpart. I'm only getting rid because I'm going back to the 810 format in the shape of 2 x 410's, so basically for the stupidly small gigs, I can use one, and for ever other, theres the full party rig
