Wow. Thom that's an amazing price.
£1,600? Any takers? Will consider a swap of the whole stack for something special with 5 strings. I'd consider swapping the head and one cab for a nice Musicman 5er HH or maybe a nice Status or something.
Hi Guys To cut a long story short. In a hope of tidying up the stage with my tribute band we have got some Z-Bars which are a great space saving (if overpriced) mic stand that clips under your cab. The Mic I normally use is this Shure Beta 52A which sounds great however you can't put it on the Z-Bar due to the neat xlr socket positioned by the stand socket. So i'm after a decent mic of similar value and purpose (Retail around £175-£210) EV, Sennheiser, AKG although a Heil would be great. Let me know what you've got. I'm gonna price it high at £110 as I would prefe + P&P or a Swap/PX.

Thom, I'm feeling generous. I'm prepared to triple your best offer... £93 for the lot. Take it or leave it...
Bump for being prepared to split. I'm surprised no one's made an offer on this yet, I know it's an expensive piece of gear, but people might be really surprised how flexible I am on the price.
I would love this rig next to mine! I could have Twin Towers! Good luck with the sale. Don't regret it! ;-)
Hush, you! Quite right, JPJ. This rig really shifts air, it has so much bottom end it's unreal. On one of my band's regular slots at the Old Bell in Derby I had the volume cranked from using one cab at a particularly loud practice and when I plugged in the 2nd cab, I was almost drowning out their PA at gig levels. When I went to the low B I think I pinned our manager to the back wall. My MB Fusion and Neo212 rig is very special. They sound very different to each other and if anything, I'd say this was far more capable (I don't think my mini rig could handle the lows that this beast can pump out if dialled in and I doubt there's much out there that could compete with this in terms of raw volume) but my smaller rig really suits what I do (in terms of pure bass tone and fitting around the other gear used in the band) and is much more convenient. I'm not gonna try and pass this off as a compact, light rig. It's not. I got this because I wanted a rig that sounded awesome with no compromises. I managed to move the whole thing around in my Fiesta with two basses but it took up the whole car (I could get in another person and more stuff if I only took one cab) but if you have back problems, this isn't the rig for you. If, on the other hand, you want a MONSTEROUS rig then IMO you can't do better. Obviously I'm a massive GK fan so I'm going to say that, but before I got my first GK rig, I really looked around to find an amp I really fell for and with enough of a budget that I could get pretty much whatever I fell for (the lower wattage/smaller cab versions at least) I ended up with a 700RB-II and two 210RBHs, basically half of this rig, which I then upgraded to this after I got the endorsement. As a final note, I bought this rig through my(I do need to contact GK before I sell to make sure it's all above board, but it's not breaching any terms of the contract so I can't see a problem, I just want to make sure everyone's happy that I'm selling) so I got it for a good price and as a result I'm very open to negotiation. The £2,000 I've put up is a guideline figure and by no means a hard line. I've been spending a lot of money on bass stuff recently (went into a shop today to buy a hard case and came out with a wireless too haha) so I'd like some cash from it (with the possible exception of a Wal 5) but make an offer and I'll see what I think. I do love this rig though so I'm not going to give it away. Of course because of the size of it, I'm not prepared to ship. I can transport it about myself though (I'm prepared to travel for the right deal if someone's definitely going to buy) and anyone's welcome to come try it (and my mini rig if curious, though that's going nowhere ) out just off J25 of the M1.
Looks great. Construction looks VERY Lakland, so maybe made in the same factory? May i ask how much?
Cort GB94 jazz bass made in Korea. Basslines pickups, active circuitry, hipshot tuners. Been gassing for a stingray and a jazz and this bass seemed to tick both boxes. Quality components but without the boutique price tag.
I almost sold my MIJ 80s Jazz Special after purchasing a new Duff McKagan Model (reissue Jazz Special) I had it in my head that because the original has a sawdust/mdf/mish-mash body that it wouldn't sound good or whatever. However it sounds great and is still my main bass, and sounds better than my Duff Bass with the Alder body. I guess hearing everyone say those sort of materials they use for the cheap guitars put me off. Just shows you've really gotta try these things.
I bought a Tokai Jazz Sound from e bay a few months ago.....never ment to,I was just killing time before my dinner! Stuck an idle bid in and after dinner found I had won it for £135! It is about 7 or 8 years old and is made in Japan. The only downside is the Tokai ''post lawsuit'' headstock, which spoils it a bit for me. I played it a few times in the house through my practise amp and although it looked great, felt really well made, with a very nice slim jazz bass neck,it wasn't a patch on my long gone 80's Tokai Jazz Sound. Since I bought it pretty cheap,I decided that it maybe should go back on the bay and turn a wee profit for me.My wife liked the idea as I have a few guitars and as she pointed out....we need a new carpet for the stairs! I got it out and polished it up,getting it ready for pictures and it's sale on e bay.But......I decided to play it again, plugged it in to a bigger amp and could,nt put it down....it sounded great! My wife sussed out that I had changed my mind and just gave me the look! So I said, I will give it another go at a band gig and see how it goes..then decide! I used it last night at Finnigins Wake in Edinburgh, with the rock covers band I am in and do you know what?...it was f**king great!.......I think the carpet may have to wait a bit longer!...Anyone else ever decided to sell a guitar then decide that it's a cracker after all?......The headstock is still pretty ugly...but if I look at it from certain angles I can tell myself it is a standard Fender shape....might change it if I can find a decent replacement, after all I believe the guitar was built in the same factory as the japanese Fenders before Tokai moved production to save costs. As far as I know, the guitars are being produced in Japan again.
A little background Put together by myself and guitarist Gavin Barnard, formerly of Guns 2 Roses. He basically got bored of playing the same 20 G N' R songs and wanted to do something new, so he quit G2R. This coincided with the huge success of Slash's solo album and touring. We got a band together and after months of prep/auditions/rehearsals did our opening show in December to a sold out venue playing an intimate local show to 250 crazy Slash fans. What's happened since? Not a lot of Rock N' Roll to be honest. We've been working on summer bookings and promo. Photoshoots, Studio time and all the other stuff. So now we have the following promo video, with audio recorded on the night. Hopefully some festival slots and club dates in the future. We're also launching our promo website tomorrow - but it's actually live now! - www.slashtribute.co.uk Enjoy!

I did exactly that and got them. After waiting a while they turned up. If you need any GK spares get them at the same time as postage isn't cheap.
You should drop Polar Audio an email, they should be able to sort you out.
Git! That's the 2nd 800rb this year at a bargain price. They're like buses...
£266.99 including delivery. Bazinga!
Just out of interest. How much did this cost you? Ive got one already and just like to keep upto date with current values!
Found one of these rare beasts on Gumtree and shot the guy an email expecting it to have been snapped up straight away. It hadn't, so I nabbed it. Arrived today and first impressions weren't great as there was no sound coming out. Twiddled knobs and the input jack then it burst into life. Thick rich bassy goodness! It's been cutting in and out so I think a bit of contact cleaner may be in order. Bit scratched on the top but nothing unexpected from a20 year old amp and might look into a rack for it if I decide it;s a keeper. Definitely a cleaner sounding amp than my AD200B but still warm and growly. Ideal! Anyways...here's a few pics for the porn addicts...
I too have one of these and they are amazing amps. The perfect amp in my eyes. Enough power for most gigs unless your Duff McKagan playing stadiums, then you'll need 3 of them! I run mine through a newer GK 410RBH and it really rocks. So much so my 2001rb rarely gets used, haha.
