1. Nice setup Thom! Someone with more GK than me! I should of been on commission after connecting you and Polar! haha. I'm pretty sure your 2001rb can power all 4 of your cabs? Might be something to try!
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a replacement for my big rig. I love that thing and can't see me ever getting rid of it. It's just a pain (literally) to shift around and although it sounds amazing, it's pointless taking something so heavy everywhere with me when there's great lightweight options available. Whenever it's convenient (and more to the point, I can be arsed) I'll still be busting out the 1080w 8x10 monster. One day I want to do this (as posted in my GK porn thread):
2. Welcome to the 2001rb family dude! You, Me and Thom rocking GK's big guns!
Whoo!!! 2001, ahhhh yeah Just need to sort out how to get the bloody thing up north!!
Bump!
I have the following set of speakers - Link However they simply don't fit on my desk. I'm after something a bit smaller, maybe a 5 or 6" driver? Would swap for the right set. WHY!
9. SOLD
 10. Im down the road from the owner and would of happily offloaded some reddies for this if the Black and Decker didn't make an appearance. I might send a cheeky email asking for the Luthiers details so i can put some work his way. ;-)
Truly hideous, what was probably a fine instrument now brutalised by a git with some sand paper.
11. How do i go about getting these from you? PM'd too!
i got some bicycle chain link style pedal board fixings with self tappers... enough to fix 4 x pedals if anyone wants em?? better than velcro
12. Another product used by Duff! ;-)
still for sale?
13. Pm'd!!!
EMG-J? I have a spare set in the projects box, as you do!
14. People are lazy??? I have a bitza bass i made of pieces. Fender Body, Seymour Duncan Pickups, BadAss Bridge, CTS, Switchcraft, Gotoh Tuners and Squier Classic Vibe Neck. To think what i'd get for my "Fender Copy" against the parts cost i would probably cry. I could probably get most of it back just selling the (Sought after) Lake Placid Blue Body!
...I keep seeing no name cheap bass bodies making more money than a complete bass, often more than a playable budget Squier P bass. ...necks sometimes seem to attract generous bids too... ...maybe the smart money is in buying up cheap old chinese tat and simply breaking them out in pieces? this is an example with days to go. 15. Immaculate condition. I'm after something a bit higher output, that will match up to the power of my other PJ Basses. Something like a Duncan SJB-2 or SJB-3 Set? Or WHY?
 16. Don't suppose you fancy a swap for the Seymour Duncan SJB set? Vintage style.
Seymour Duncan Basslines Quarter Pounder Jazz Bass Pickups in good condition with original boxes. Large 1/4" pole pieces for hotter output than traditional single coils, but still a true single coil pickup. I'll try to add some pics when I get a minute. £70 ono The blurb: Seymour Duncan SJB-3 quarter-pound for jazz bass® High output true single-coil. Recommended for blues, classic rock, garage, heavy rock, classic metal and nu-metal. Developed for the bassist who needs the slammin' output of the Hot but with even stronger attack. The quarter-inch pole pieces and intense windings deliver a full response with great sustain. Includes logo cover. Neck and bridge are calibrated. Neck pickup is slightly narrower and is RW/RP for hum cancelling when both pickups are used together. Often used together with STC-2 or -3 Tone Circuits for optimal tonal control.
17. PM'd for GK.
PM'd for Multicomp.
18. Good call. Ive got a GK 2001rb with 2 x 4x10s so i know exactly the sound you're after. You will love the Fusion. Someone is getting a bargain with your Marshall setup. Also i think its just MB, not MBA!?
I got a GK Fusion 550 head, and RBX 410 and 115 cabs Picking them up Monday night. I'll see how they all sound together, but normally I've always gone for 10" setups (the Marshall was just too good an offer to pass up at the time) so I might sell on the GK 15" to fund another 4x10 or a 2x10.
19. Just out of sheer GK interest. What did you get on eBay?
Hey folks, just got myself an absolute bargain of a GK amp from ebay, so it's time to sell my trusty Marshall MBA rig. There's a MB4210 2x10 combo I bought new, and a MBC115 15" extension cab I bought second-hand from a fellow BCer Included is a kettle lead, footswitch, and speakon lead. Don't think I've got the manual but it's not a rocket science amp and sure you can get it from Marshall's website http://www.marshallamps.com/product_range....=MBC%20Cabinets The 4210 combo is in really great condition, just a couple of scuffs but otherwise fantastic. The 1x15 is a little more road-scarred but nothing major. I'll email pics to anyone interested. This rig is LOUD and really punchy The combo by itself is plenty for pubs and smaller clubs. Having the full stack on stage DOES make you like like the boss though Anyone who can get to Southampton is welcome to come have a cuppa and try it out. It's not a small or light setup so postage might be considerable. Probably best to come get it in person. £250 for the lot please! I'll leave this up a week before putting on ebay - space in my house is now very limited. Would love a BCer to take it as it's a great setup that's served me really well. 07919 100666 or PM any questions Nick
20. Without a doubt Fusion Gigbags IMO the best on the market. They do a whole range from £20 - £150 with everything in between depending on budget!
Looking for a nice robust, well padded gigbag for my G&L L2000. Budget around £60 max. Fed up with lugging my case around (which does not fit in my car boot!). Any experiences and recommendations would be welcome. If it can carry misc. cables etc. as well that would be a bonus.
21. I've never liked them. Had a few die on me in the past and the fancy fanned bits on the plugs spread your input socket out, meaning normal cables that you use won't fit snug as normal. But this is my opinion. I've wired my pedal board with Switchcraft 226 plugs and my rack with Neutrick Plugs all with VanDamme Cable. Easy to order online and not bad pricing.
are the planet waves ones crap? andy
22. Come on peeps. Grab some bargains!
I'll take that off you mate, you wanna pm me paypal details? Cheers
23. I'll be suprised if Cetera doesn't steal this!
Make an offer guys and girls! I've got my eye on something now and can't buy it unless I make a sale
