1. Will you be putting the £450 towards a Duff Bass? ;-)
My Fender Jazz Aerodyne is up for sale. Its a 2004 model, one of the early models before they started using the Strat style jack sockets on them. This one has black knurled knobs but I do have original ufo knobs that can be replaced if you want them. It's a great bass, but I just use my Stingray more and more and this bass just isn't getting the use it deserves. It sounds great, its completely unmarked, it looks immaculate. I'm looking for £450 for this little beauty. If you want any more info, let me know. Cheers Steve
2. I bought mine last year. I think it was the only 240v one for sale In 2010. It seriously kicks and is hugely underrated.
I've owned a couple of these (and was watching to see if I could steal that one for £205 even though I seriously don't need it LOL), even bought one brand new back in 90/91 and they are in my top 5 (if not 3) fave amps. I have to say that I was chewing knuckles when I clocked the rig that just sold on BC... gone in under 5 mins and a serious bargain.
3. That is crazy! I wish I was financially better off right now. I would have fought for that till the end! That and the rig that Cetera bought on bass chat recently!
This was a bargain! I'm sure the last 800rb went on ebay for about £4-500?
4. You git Cetera. That's the bargain of the century!
I'll take it! PM'd...
5. I have one of these incredible bits of kit. If i was minted i'd have another as a spare. Im sure this will go for good money. Ebay Link
 6. Hi guys I have a bunch of spare cables that have never been used. I would prefer a sale for all of them. Hence why I've put the bulk prices so cheap. I have 5 x 9" and 1 that's about 12". Will upload pics when not on my iPhone. £5.00 for 1 £9.00 for 2 £12.50 for 3 £15.50 for 4 £18.00 for 5. £20.00 for all 5 plus the large one. Message me if you want pics asap. I can email them straight away.
 7. Bumpety Bump
Hi Guys I have some high quality knobs that i bought in error. These fit split shaft pots, unfortunately i have solid shaft pots. They have small flat head screw fixing. Quite Heavy. Gloss Black. Condition - As delivered to me. Never used.
9. I have a couple of P-Bass Pickups kicking about that i no longer need. 1 x American Standard Pickup S-1 (£35) I bought this off ebay last year. Was original wired up for S-1 Switching, but i changed it to normal wiring. Simple change, but means it can be installed in any bass. 1 x '96 Highway 1 Pickup (£25) When i purchased it off basschat it was sold as "Standard Vintage Alnico Split Single-Coil Precision Bass Pickup, Impedance of 11.5K Ohms" Both in good condition, and include UK postage.
 10. If anyone fancies a Trans Teal finish Ray i have one, but fancy a black one. Then theres a deal going somewhere.
 11. Have shipped out 4 so far! You lucky, lucky people.
 12. Clarky is taking the first BassChat Prototype Serial #BC01 ;-)
Awesome work Chris!
13. Hopefully sorted. BTW i can make them any length under 15cm depending on your headstock. The length i use is perfect for Fenders.
Can't see a pic buddy.
14. I have been "researching" this topic for a while as like my fav bass player Duff McKagan I play with picks mostly, sometimes finger style, sometimes both in the same song. Getting a pick in time without a mic stand became a small problem. I've found that Duff, Slash, Steve Vai all use custom made pick holders, made by their techs, but all the same materials and methods. Although Vai uses White and Black Strips, not clear like Duff/Slash. Hopefully the pictures will illustrate in enough detail. Have tested lots of picks, all of which stay in place even with lots of movement. The holder is attached by a velcro strip. One side has to be stuck on the headstock. The top of the pick holder by the G-String machinehead, there is a little cut-out that allows easy installation of the picks. Again, something the stars seem to have. I've made enough for myself, and I've sent out some to friends. Am offering the last few of this batch to bass chatters for a couple of few quid towards parts and postage.
 15. Where would you like me to send you the money? The £3 that is. Although I have a set of chrome/nickel strap locks I could send you? Not the part you're looking for, but the strap attachment. Means you'd have a spare?
That is more than acceptable - I don't think anyone will be trading with me! How about £25,000? No? £3?
16. how about i give you a few quid and buy these off you?!
Bump for revised info - I'll gladly take chrome or black Schallers.
17. WOW! You rarely see one of these, i thought me and Thom were the only ones on BassChat! This is a phenomenal price for such a beast of a head. If i could find a way of having a spare £500 i'd have this as a "guilty-pleasure" spare. Good luck with the sale. I hope £500 falls in my pocket sometime soon, as you're reasonably local too.
Just to note, the reason I can offer at this price is I paid way under the odds when I got it. Call me an old hippie but I want it to be used for it's proper purpose, which is make some noise.
18. Put this in the Market Place. It wont sell in this forum.
Hi guys, I no longer have my delicious GKMB150E combo and have a genuine GK supplied (via the then current UK 'disty' Beyerdynamic) Manfrotto tripod with amp mounting bracket and two amp mounting 'nuts'. Looking for £50 + shipping. The stand is great as it puts the combo at whatever height you want the sound to emit (within the limits of the height-range of the stand obviously!). Good used condition.
19. My big rig that i took to a small gig once... I miss that Lakland! Stage Layout at a Slash Tribute show... (Ignore the support bands Line 6 creeping in the pic. Our guitarists are strictly Marshall only. Action shot of the rhythm guitarist and our cabs... Its hard to get a pic of the rig cos its "hidden" off stage, but you can kinda see the head and racks on the left.
 20. Might do that! What's the smallest venue you'd do. We did our opening show with our Slash Tribute at a Rockin venue in my home town of Bognor. We sold it out with 225 people at £5 per ticket?
T'would be nice but a lot of the venues either won't allow us to use pyro etc or simply don't have decent enough stages. The gig in Camberley is just off the M3 not that far from Hants The Wedgewood Rooms would be great but they only book a limited number of tributes, a year ahead and never seem to have any free dates. If you could request us direct with the venue we may have a better chance!
21. I was about to say the same thing. Anywhere between Hampshire, West Sussex and East Sussex would be nice. You guys should get into the Wedgewood Rooms or something.
You need more dates in the south of england
22. Looks like a Classic Vibe Squier to me... - Link here
Back again as a "Bitsa" http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Daphne-Blue-USA-Fend...=item1e608beecc
23. RIP. My Fernandes Acoustic. It went down to the tip a while ago, and i havent been on here to reply sooner.
Would you still be willing to post it & what do you think it would cost? Sorry to ask about a deal you're basically not making anything on.
24. Thanks for the comment. Glad you liked it. Was a crazy night but we got there in the end. Thanks for coming!
not sure if the right place to post? - went to this gig last night - Slash and Friends were great - highlight of the evening for me was Night Train and Ghost, and of course Sweet Child of mine. Support band were short of singer apparently - and the poorer for that. Thanks to Chris and Gav (especially for squaring my buds name " on the door") Would recomend seeing Slash and Friends to anyone liking the genre... look out for them
25. Pretty clean snap. Although I can't get it to fit perfectly, so I don't know if there's anything missing. Certainly no chunks on the carpet.
How bad is the break? Many pieces or a clean snap and no missing fragments? Thanks
