Hey Guys Im not sure if anyone else has this problem. I wanted to bring a Jazz Bass into the equation when playing live. (Ive always used a P-Bass) Ive realised the Jazz is a lot quieter although they are all setup how they should be. Is there anyway of boosting the output of the jazz to near match the P?

Hi Guys I have an SKB 2u Deep Rack Case in great condition. Unfortunately i only house a Line 6 Pod which is very shallow, so am wasting a whole lot of space. I would like to do a straight swap for a comparable ABS or Wooden Case. I am based in West Sussex, and would like to keep the deal local. No-point in shipping. PS. I also have a 4u SKB Style Abs Case (not in perfect condition, and very minor damage) that i would also swap for a 2u shallow.

Hey Guys In my tool box i have loads of CTS pots, Caps, Jacks and Wire. As an owner of Precision style basses, i'm unsure whether Fender USA on the following points; 1. Do i need solid or split shaft pots for the normal Fender Jazz knobs? 2. Is the tone pot different in spec to the volume? 3. What do people recommend for the type of cap to use? I will be using some early 90s Fender Jap Jazz Pickups. Many thanks

Musicman Stingray - Black - Mint Condition - £750
chriswilliams666 replied to Jebo1's topic in Basses For Sale
Just to throw this in there. If anyone wants a Lakland Duck Dunn, i have one but would only swap it for a Musicman Stingray just like Jebo1's. So if you want my Lakland, buy this Stingray and you got a deal!
Cheers Kevin, hope you're loving the double bass and you haven't injured your hands yet trying to play it with such a high action!!!
-

Bump
I made these with surplus plugs and cable that i had left after wiring up my rig. Each cable consists of 6" (before assembly) Van Damme Pro Ultra Pure Silver Plated Instrument Cable and 2 x 226 Switchcraft Jacks. After reading (now discontinued) Performing Musician magazine, pretty much all touring musicians and techs use these 226 plugs for patch, instrument and wireless cables. I used them after reading an article with both Velvet Revolver techs saying they swear by these plugs. Each plug cost me about £4. I am willing to sell each cable at £6.00 inc. UK Postage. Obviously i will be making a loss on these but i'd rather move them on. I have 3 in total to sell, all exactly the same.
Hey Guys, This is a mega feeler to see if im barking up the wrong tree. It's a long shot i know, as i'd like to keep it local (West Sussex, Hampshire, East Sussex) I've got a hankering for a Musicman Stringray in the following spec, and ONLY have a Lakland Duck Dunn that I would possibly trade. *4 String *Black Guard *Rosewood Fretboard *Plain (non-matching) Headstock *Newer Model if possible *Original (no-mods) Doesn't matter if it's; *2 or 3 EQ *Original Case *Slightly Worn - I don't want any Relic stuff. Let me know what you've got. My Lakland is near-immaculate. It has a very minor nick on the headstock edge and very minor scratch on back of neck.

Nice to hear you're getting the 2001 and 410rbh setup. That's the as mine. Keep me posted!
I think that fate's determined I won't sell anything at the moment, my WEM and Maverick aren't going either. I'll be getting a 2001RB-II into 2 410RBHs. Exactly the same rig as this, just more power and more speakers. I've been tempted to try the Fusion head and neo cabs, but this rig sounds so good I'm happy to stick with the same series cabs and head.
-

I ordered a Speaker Cable one day, got it the next. Such an amazing product, price and service. These are the best! I work in a busy guitar store, and have never sold a cable this good. I will be forwarding the more discerning customers, friends and musicians i meet on the road your way! Thanks!
Get your eyes off, and your hands on. When i considered selling this cab the rest of my band told me "the cab stays, your out". Its nice to be wanted.
Ive got an 800rb and know what you mean? It seems every PA hire company around the world has an 800rb in their arsenal. Must be a reason behind it!
+1 on what the others said- you definitely made the right choice IMO mate! The G-K heads are hard to beat for live work- they just sit so well in the mix onstage. I just got back from St Tropez a couple of days ago after playing a wedding out there- I had a 800RB head and an old SWR Goliath II 4x10 hired in by a local PA company. It sounded absolutely massive with my Jazz Bass- one of the best live sounds I've ever had! Et
-
