1. The body is from a pre-upgrade Mex. Blue agave was discontinued a couple of years ago. The pickguard also has the old Fender "shop" sticker on it.
Could it possibly also be MIM? You'd think it'd be a fairly important detail to include, as it would affect the price quite a bit I'd have thought. Also, just to add the Geddy Lee now also comes in Sunburst now whereas he says they only come in black, although it's about £150 premium for the sunburst IIRC.
2. Horrible Blue Agave. Would look better in Lake Placid!
Looks good, and IMO much better looking than black. Wonder if the other Jazz was a US one or still a CIJ.
3. Genuine Fender USA 4-bolt neck plate. Chrome finish. Stamped with the famous "F" logo. Great for any of you guys building a Parts Bass. I'm after £9 Posted. (£13.99 + Postage at WD Music) I would also like some Black Neck Plate screws in a P/X if possible.
 4. Hey Guys Bruce's Bass tech is a personal friend of mine. I spoke to Paul about the gear Bruce was using. If i remember rightly he had 2 Ampeg Heads with an 8x10 when they started with FTJ (Originally The Gift) After touring the Ampegs, they became unreliable. Constantly back at the repairers (Possibly Ampeg UK?) They needed something more reliable so went to Marshall. I believe he tried the VBA, MB and possibly an 800 through various cabs and decided on the VBA400 with two 4x12s. He also tours with a spare VBA400 (just incase) The only other gear you need is the 57 Vintage P-Bass, Rotosound RS66LD Strings and Rotosound 0.96mm Triangle Picks!
Throw him an email and ask him through his official site. He's a very very approachable guy who I've met a couple of times.... the last time when we supported FTJ in December 08. I'm sure he'd love to give you a heads up. Whilst your doing that, point him in the direction of this site. I remember mentioning it to him at the gig and he seemed very enthusiastic about checking it out. You never know..... he may be lurking! His sound guy by the way is a chap called Edd Higdon who I'm good friends with (no.... it's NOT how we got the gig!!). He runs a sound production company called CSS Pro or something, based in Poole. This is us with Bruce after the Dec gig
5. Hey Dude Glad to see you're on the hunt for the GK. I personally have the 2001RB and a couple of 410RBHs. Both are amazing and you'd never need another rig. I'm not sure on the Euro price but its worth looking at the GK Fusion range, for something a little different. They have a valve pre-amp with the power amp from the 2001rb (i think) If going valve isn't your thing then stick with the 1001rb. Any GK questions, send me an PM!
Sorry to bother you guys again, but are there any alternatives in the price range (1500 euro = approx. 1444 GBP = 1648 USD), or is this the best choice? I want to be very very sure I can find little sound samples of the 1001RB-II on youtube to compare with other amps. I only played on an Ampeg SVT-3 before and I didn't like the sound, it was too dull for me, I like a little bit more punch/attack/definition, without losing the lows...
6. Just got a BadAass from Wayne. Paid one day, arrived the next! Perfect Gentleman.
 7. I had one of these. Amazing bass. Best Mex Bass they make!
No way Andy. You will regret this, you love this bass!!!!! I have had a shot of this and can guarantee its perfect condition and playabilty. Good luck with sale dude.
9. I remember that OLP. Must be the new BassChat communal 4 string!
Bought an OPL bass from Tim, which is in great nick with fresh strings. Tim went the extra mile, arranging for his drummer to deliver personally to my door. What a star! You don't get this quality of service very often. Thanks, Tim.
10. It is a great DVD. Although they're the only two songs on it. Duff breaks down the bass parts and teaches them to you. Theres also a gear run-through and history of Duff and GNR. Pretty cool
Great Vids, Need to get that DVD
11. Glad there are other fans out there. Ive got the Duff Sig and a 80s Jazz Special. if you're considering either get the Jazz Special. Ive also got a modded aerodyne like Duffs.
Duff is the man.
12. Sorry not for me then. Great product for people that wanna stay wireless in the next couple of years!
Hi, sorry I should have been clearer. It's the pedal format XDS95. Ill post a picture tomorrow.
13. From now all adverts should include your other half in the pictures!
Well it would certainly spice up the For Sale section
14. Would love that Bello Bass Right now. Big Duff fan. I spoke to Jon Cruz at the Fender Custom Shop who builds his basses. Duffs one is basically a Bello/Aerodyne Jazz Special. Basically your very bass with a Jazz Special Neck. Damn, wish i could find £500!
New photo
15. Is this a rack mounted one? Thanks
Mint condition, out of the box once X2 digital wireless. Comes with an OBBM replacement cable to replace the (shockingly awful) standard cable. I thought I was going to use this, but I'm just not. £130 inc shipping.
16. Hope they wiped down the leather after!
"Darling, now you really must sell your bass on the BC marketplace because as you see, I have literally nothing to wear!"
17. Anyone know what bass it is? lol
I actually thought this was going to be a rant about sexism from a disgruntled lady basser...my ability to spot a seaside-style double entendre has evidently seriously atrophied in the last year spent living in the Middle East! I frowningly disapprove of such misogyny...still, buckle rash isn't going to be a problem eh?
18. Think this is turning into the "Find a hot chick and a naff bass in a pic" Thread.
I'm thinking mid hump here.
19. Well, if you ask me she has plent of "Top End"
Sounds like a caption competition to me!
20. Is this not the most random bass pic on the internet? Pretty awesome though! If you were the photographer, would you tell her it was upside down?
 21. I might be up for this. Give me a shout when you know! Also i have a Chrome one i could swap-ya?
This might have gone depending. Will know later. £45 ?
22. I think its a case of Sign Up...Place Ad linking to Ebay Auction...Bugger Off! I could be wrong?! Ad appears a few minutes after sign up?
are you offering it for sale here, or just linking us to your ebay auction?
23. Gotta say the Furmans are amazing for guys with Racks. One Master power switch and conditioning which has saved my gear a couple of times at dodgy venues. I swear by my PL-Plus. Also love the DTR-2000 too! Good luck with the sale!
No worries.. I might like the rack too. How many units high is an LMII? I don't need a conditioner, but would be very interested in the tuner anyway..!
24. Great gigging amp! - Gallien Krueger 700RB-II on EBAY
