    +1 for the Ken Burns series. Really great chronological doc, with insights from the protagonists and the likes of Wynton Marsalis, in a fascinating sociological context too. They repeat it on PBS all the time.

    Yep I have only praise for this excellent forum. In any demographic a percentage will be malcontents and as BC grows there will inevitably be more griping from those who don't like change. Lets enjoy what we have here - aim low, play bass
