1. here's a hoping - the price of the bass, £115, plus £15 approx, for postage, if need be, and all done for £130!!
2. This is a 70s-80s Japanese made copy of a Jazz. I bought it from BCer SimWells over Christmas I think it was. Needs to go fund other gear. Using some of previous blurb: overall condition is reasonable particularly considering the age of the instrument, headstock does have a crack as shown only visible from the front so presume it's just the surface lacquer and doesn't appear to affect the bass in any way. The jack plug can get a little rattly but I imagine only needs minor attention. Here's where it gets fun: the front pick up is a Wizard 84. The back pup is as stock. The Wizard adds huge tone and punch. (The stock front p'up will come with the bass). Also to note: a couple of the intonation springs are missing off the bridge. It's an old bass, no doubting that, but that's sort of the joy of it. 3. Selling this to help fund another. Passive bass. Great tones, can get a good blend from the pick ups. These have the Seymour Duncan designed pick ups installed, which provide a pretty meaty sound. All round good condition, few scuffs on the headstock as shown, otherwise, hard pushed to find fault. Don't be put off by the name. These are good guitars and very gig worthy. £115 - silly low price for quick sale. Will meet up within reasonable distance, for petrol money - or post at buyer's cost. 8.
I liked the music, but thought Damon Albarn sounded like a pub drunk doing a Damon Albarn impression on karaoke. But, overall, I liked the fact that instead of shiny polished people with costume changes, and dancers, there were 4 scruffy lads on stage making a racket.
+1 to this
9. hi guys has been an interesting read - i see the issue totally with the UNlined camp, but still unsure as to my natural abilities to intonate without lines - with an unlimited budget i'd go the unlined route and give it a shot. we'll see
10. Thanks for all the feedback thus far guys
11. interesting advice on the lines guys - i guess it seems a little daunting to go from no frets to nothing!! Unsure about the whole intonating issue without some sort of assistance
12. Thanks for the input Noel
13. Any suggestions of good budget basses in this area guys please - Growing more curious by the day re. the whole fretless thing, but really don't want to spend out on something I might not be suited to or even able to get along with... Thanks

15. Sorry to hear this matey - I always tell myself it has to be enjoyable first and foremost, when it stops being that you have to make hard choices. Something's around the corner.
