2.
What's his commission rate Pete, might try this myself! Glad that worked so well for you! Things are dire in the BS FS section at the moment aren't they. Also, did it sell for your agreed price and have you got your money yet?
15% commission i believe
 3. not really me i think - thanks for the offer
 4. ...me. This is brand new, dink free etc and is a gr8 gr8 guitar for its price range - fab action, fingerboard, punchy and also deep pups - all round a good egg but I can't get on with the body shape. Bougt it last week from RichTone in Sheffield - it's a damn nice guitar and I thought I'd try it out. Yes, it does have the famed neck dive and I haven't done anything with the strap button to counteract that cos I know I need to move it on. BUT, apparently a simple re-siting of the strap button behind the neck does the trick. Alder body, rosewood board, thru neck, great sustain. So..would be up for trades at the mo - it cost £279 new, so stuff in that region? P's or P derivatives preferred. Or I might be tempted to add cash my side for something a little more pricey
 5. well it is but just dunno how it ended up like that - i've got one exact same ie. natural finish, maple neck, and i think that's a bakerlite p'guard which mine has also, but it's the full shape not the Blue Peter cut out with scissors one there!! just puzzles me that it gets messed with like that - ho hum
 6.
Nothing, honest guv! Having said that, I just bought a Tokai Thunderbird for a laugh on Friday
ha ha I did the same! Plays like an absolute dream, id always wanted an EB3 but the shop I went in had an EB3 and the LP in at the same time. I walked out with the LP as I fell in love with the look of it, and it has so many more tones possible than the EB. The last couple are piccies of my good self using the weapon in action.
how is it tonally? is there a lot of range?

 13.
In that case, he's not changing direction. He's terminating the old band and starting a new one. Act accordingly. How do the other band members feel? Maybe they actually want to be in a Hawkwind tribute band. In which case, start a "new" Hawkwind tribute band and poach the lot of them. S.P.
nice -

 22. I heard someone say it again the other day that 70' Fender guitars/basses "aren't up to scratch" like it was generally a bad era for the company.. can someone who knows more about the history of this than me expand a little around this - ie. if they did make suspect stuff in this era, why was it suspect, poor pups, poor finish, necks..? but more so, is this more of an urban myth? Ta
