Hi Flex Unfortunately not - I bought it used from GuitarGuitar, so I assume the original owner decided to hang onto it?? Still a great price for a high spec bass [size=4] [/size][size=4] [/size]

These basses really are quality - lightweight (approx 7lb-ish), quality woods, Nordstrand pick ups and Gotoh tuners - type BUMP

This is part of the Ibanez SR premium range. Get this spec, it's quality: [attachment=149397:IMG_7279.JPG] a five piece Wenge/Bubinga neck mahogany body/ovangkol top 24 frets a sweet jazz like 24mm at the nut two punchy as hell Nordstrand Big Singles 3 band eq Gotoh tuners Passive/Active option Mid-frequency select switch Most of these that you see are finished in a nice Natural, but this is in a rather fetching burl type finish. All this and it weighs about 7lbs!! I played a Special P yesterday as it goes - great action and very well put together I'd say - for my preferences, I think the Greasebucket thingy is useful Not aware that, altho the price is cheaper, it is in anyway discernably [i]cheaper[/i]

Resurrection thread! I tried one of these the other day and for me it was all about the Nordstrands - such even punchy sound; in particular, great articulation across the D and the G. Not a bass I'd normally look at, I'm more old school Ibanez, but sorely tempted.

@WOT: Well the engineer was fascinated by the flats on my bass ha ha! He's a bass player also, but has never used flats. [size=4]@LOZZ, re. the sound I like from my amp: I've probs missed a trick a bit in that there is also a (very good) producer on board who, when we re-amped, EQed the amp as it played out. So I think my 'sound' has been diminished somewhat. I think it is partly inexperience of recording on my part (I should have piped up, but like I said I don't consider myself in any way au fait with the processes) but I think it will be about what WOT says, ie. the the flats will need considered eq[/size]
