1.
Yes I know Waynes Bar!! One of my bands did a couple of one week stints there 3 years ago. Mental sums it up nicely. The gigs were so much fun, and the drinking that followed was legendary! On the second week we were there the air con in the pit had packed up, I have never, ever, played in heat like it. Most of the band at some point nearly passed out, no lie. All in all, fond memories. I did hear that they weren't using British bands any more. That's obviously not true so maybe I'll get back there someday.
Yeah!... Last time I did this gig was Oct... this was July, I nearly passed out myself!.... Sam (was he working there back then?) told us it peeked at 45 degrees in the pit once!... F.Hot! ....A lotta fun but not much of an earner.
 2.
All good thanks mate It was just a shot in the dark, I've seen guys downsizing from 1001's to 700/400RB's because they want to keep the tone but reduce the headroom. Unless a LM II might take your fancy?
Hmmm... I wouldn't mind trying a LM II through my Aggies.... could be interesting!
 3.
Where are you buddy? Would you post if necessary? Thanks :-)
Replied to your PM...
 4.
How about downsizing to a 700RB Dave?
Hi Josh... How's it going?... nah mate, soz... gotta be MB stylee... I'm actually gassing for the MB500 Fusion...or an Aguilar tone hammer... but I'd settle for MB500 if there was one on offer... Feeling the need for a bit more umph?
 5.
Anyone looking for a proper gigging set up should consider this - they are great amps. GLWTS.
Indeed they are!... thanks for that

 7. The classic Gallien Krueger 1001RB Mark II head. Has served me well. Had it regularly serviced by my tech guy... Will throw in the Gator bag. Average condition... it's been a gigging animal so has taken a few knocks! I want to downsize to a MB500 (my ideal would be the MB500 fusion, but it's a case of affording it!)
 8. I'd be interested in this but I'd need to sell my GK 1001RB ii first... if it's cash you are after

 10. I am a veggie... living in Bristol though... How are you getting on with this search?
 11. Just back from 7 nights on the trot in Wayne's Bar, Nice... Geez.... hot, sweaty, mental! Anyone know that gig?
 12. A thumbs up for the Neo-Pak... a great little amp. The Genz Benz EQ is well good, very usable.. I've had one for several years now.... wouldn't part with it. That parametric mid set at 150 & boosted a little really helps cut through the mix with a fat but articulate warmth...
 13. Had a bit of a festival weekend...The Newt Beer Fest on Friday... Played pretty early & partied till the sun came up! Then on to a little Woodstock themed party near Churchinford for Saturday.... Lovely bunch of people & such a sweet vibe that we ended up staying over there too... A good time had by all!
 14. Ha!... loving this thread. some right corkers Back in the 80's I remember a pub rock band doing the local circuit called Beergut 100, made I titter a bit! Anyone remember Haircut 100? (...what kind of name is that anyway?)
 15.
Haha, I'm quite the opposite to a lot of people here. I'm a big, big fan of The XX. I love their music and only wish I could write like them. Jamie XX, the guy on keys/samples/drums/etc etc is one very talented man and when i saw them live the first time, I was really surprised they could pulled off what they do live, due to the amount of production on the albums. I thought their performance at Glasto was exactly expected of them and I didn't feel they disappointed. I totally 'get' their music and I really enjoy it. They're not The Rolling Stones, and they're not in your face exciting but I feel their music is honest and they're not trying to be anything that they're not.
I agree... found them quite captivating & refreshing... Have got hold of the 1st two albums since
 16. Thought it might be worth a bump on this.... been a while now...
 17.
This is still available. Have added a Straight Sale option. I have it bubble wrapped and boxed already as I was planning on a trade that didn't work out so that's half the job done for a delivery job if so desired. Will post pics soon.
Hmm, Too big for me. I already have a Pedaltrain 1 for plenty o' pedal needs! .....Want a mini or nano for a 4 pedal only option...
 18. Don't mean to highjack ...but if anyone here doesn't do this swop & still wants to sell a nano or a mini.... I'd be interested!
 19. Just sold the cab & the guy doesn't want the cover... So thought I'd put it up here in case someone needs one... In 'as new' condition, hardly used... £25 posted ------ Now SOLD (pending the usual) To fit cab dimensions:(WxHxD) 23.5 x 19.5 x 14.75 (handle slit on top)
