    I don't buy the 'cab tolerance' thing - in my opinion if it was designed properly it wouldn't be an issue. I used mine for three gigs with the same cab, was fine until gig three at which point the cutting out began. As far as I can tell, they either suffer from pretty poor quality control or are built wrong. Either way, I would never recommend one.

    Hi there, If you can post in the next two days, so that I get it for Thursday evening for £100 all in, I'll take it? You can take the neck off for shipping if preferred? I would recommend using Interparcel Economy (UPS) which despite saying 48 hour is, in fact, 24! Cheers! James

    Hi folks, Bought this off resident GAS addict Mudpup the other day. It's a lovely bass but it doesn't fit my, ahem, chunky frame and I can't get comfortable with it. I'm much more suited to J or P shapes so if you have a Squier Classic Vibe or similar I could be interested in a trade! I'd like £145 which is what I paid for it (true cost after factoring in petrol) and can post at cost if you give me some time to arrange. It's had a full setup as when I got it, the setup wasn't to my taste and sounds immense - I'm well impressed with these passive EMGs!     I think its the voice coil makes a gritty sound when the cone is gently pushed. Damn. Time to buy a new 8 ohm unit then?

    Hi folks, Got a Hartke VX1508 (2x8 and 1x15) cab but the 15 is crackling. All drivers are 8 ohm and the cab itself is 8 ohm. There is a fairly hefty looking crossover unit fitted inside. My question is: i have a 16 ohm Celestion speaker, ignoring the fact that it's a crapshoot as to whether it'll work in the enclosure, will it change the load that the amp sees? Thanks in advance! James

    Would Part-Ex for a Hartke VX series 4x10 or 1x15 (the latter much preferred) as they JUST fit in the back seat of my car! Would require cash my way on top, however!

    I'm very interested. Can it hack having 500wRMS thrown into it and against a loud drummer and guitards? Just wondering what the limits of a 2x10 are really, as I've never gigged them - the smallest I've ever gone down to is 2x12 Thanks in advance! James
