  1. Fabbo! I can save you the cost of delivery too as I work in Snorbans - will fire you a PM
  2. I like it, but can barely listen thanks to the heavy compression - might have to try and source a CD.
  3. Thanks for pointing me in this direction! I'm interested, but it's over my budget at the moment, what's the absolute best, stonking price, delivered and how quickly can you arrange to get it daaahn saaaarf? Cheers! James
  4. What's the weight like on these compared to the cabs I sold you matey? Been considering upgrading our PA speakers (Peavey Pro series) Cheers! James
  5. I've rung the printers and they THINK they can hold the front page. The public NEED to know this...
  6. Do yourself a favour and get some Legacy strings from Stringsdirect - they ARE Rotosounds, and half the price so you can change 'em more often! I use them and love the sound for the first gig - I trash strings with a remarkable speed. Thinking of trying Elixirs.
  7. Nice one! I have a MAG300 with an Eminence Deltalite fitted, awesome sounding combo
  8. Amazing. I really liked that - is there a CD with that sort of stuff on? I bought Zoe's first (I think) and found it a bit dull, but the two of them play beautifully together!
  9. The EB if you must, but I'd go for a second hand MAG 300 - more power and sounds better, easily had for c£200
  10. Condition, as you can see is generally pretty good but it has been played and loved and does have some dents, dings, nicks etc - if you're thinking this is a PRS-style piece of furniture or considering it as an investment to supplement your portfolio of stocks and shares, then I would suggest perhaps giving it a miss! That said, if you're looking for a fun little guitar that sounds and plays waaaaay better than it deserves to, then you're on the right track!
  11. Hi all, Decided I need to clear some room and make a few quid back (did someone say it's my wife's birthday...eep!) This is a project strat that I've turned from boring ol' Westfield into a lovely little gee-tar. It's had some fret work by TJC Guitars, so that action is lower than a very low thing. It's also had some Ironstone Platinum Strat pickups fitted to it which sound bloody incredible! It's had the headstock transfer removed and a 'Gun oil' finish applied, but if I was being picky it does need sanding down or flatting, I got bored waiting! I also replaced the machineheads with some ones I had lying around as they felt better. It's a cracker, and I only want £75 for it! Come and collect it or I can post at your cost and risk. Cheers, James
  12. Hi all, Got a Marshall Class 5 for sale, good condition and sounds HUGE - looking for £150 which I think is a fine price for a British-built piece of amplification! You are welcome to collect (Hertfordshire) or arrange your own courier at your own risk. Marvellous amp - pictures on request! Cheers, James

Visit www.andytill.com Call Andy 07952 076 513[/quote] If you're not already, you might consider an ad on www.lemonrock.com - whilst it's more 'semi-pro' oriented, and largely based in the South-East, it certainly can't do any harm and I know players that have been called all around the country because of ads on there so it does work! Cheers, James
  14. Hi all, Got one of these for sale - no longer needed as it was to get me through a gig with no amp. Simply put, these things are awesome! This is in lovely condition, perhaps only one or two very minor marks - comes with two way footswitch and has been upgraded to the latest firmware. Cheapest new on Google Shopping is £218 at the moment, so £185 seems a great deal given it's still got 11 months of warranty on it? Collection welcome / meetup - St Albans & Stevenage in Herts! Maybe trade for basses/amps? Cheers, James
  15. Bump for a lovely bass, now even better since Theo has pimped it! (Sorry for the lack of reply btw, been VERY slack on that score...) Cheers, James
  16. Agreed, it's the playing equivalent of flopping it out with a ruler handy. In context it can be okay, but it properly does my head in and is one of the reasons I wouldn't go.
  17. My problem with it all is that I don't care. Sorry, but that's how it is! You CAN play bass really well? Great, good for you. You suck? Well, that's just bad luck, play some more and you'll get better. I literally have no opinion on other peoples playing, possibly because I have very little opinion on my own! Now - let's get back to discussing whether brass screws in a Badass have a positive effect on tone or not. I'm undecided!
