  1. Typical internet answer: Why these two? Are you buying these for a home practise amp? If you're not and you want to gig or even rehearse with either, I would strongly recommend you reconsider and look for something with more power. Otherwise, if you're looking for a practise amp, buy whichever you prefer the sound of. Cheers! James
  2. Hi all, I am moving over to a combo solution, so have my Ashdown MAG 2x10 cabinet for sale. It's in lovely condition, full working order and sounds just great! Speakon and Jack inputs, 8 ohm and not too heavy! £100 collection only or I can meet for petrol costs. Cheers, James

  10. Hi all, Got one of these, purchased as I had a failure of my main head and I needed something reliable. I don't really need this, so would like to move it on. It's in excellent nick, full working order and about 10 months warranty, if not more. 300wrms into 4 ohms, and nice and small and light! It has that famous GK sound in spades (think punchy growl and you're spot on). £200 posted or £180 collected from herts. Cheers, James
  11. This is indeed very sad, I chatted to him a bit as we attempted a trade which never really happened - seemed a nice guy and for this to happen to someone so young is upsetting to say the least.
  12. 8/10 condition? What's that nightmare on the back then? Seriously, what are those guys smoking?
  13. What is it in me that actually gets annoyed at ads like that? I think I should get out more, but it bugs the life out of me how someone can ask such an unrealistic amount of cash for something.
  14. Look for anything Peavey, if you can find something from their slightly older stuff (pointy logo) then it'll be loud and cheap. Done!
