Saturday night saw us return to The Victoria Club in Aylesbury. Room is up stairs (no lift) so not a good load in and finding somewhere to park a nightmare.
Small audience, but we seemed to have been well received. Our drummer was not available so his brother depped and did a good job.
First gig of 2023 saw us return to a localish social club last night. Was a fairly good turn out and we seemed to go down well. We are back there again in September.
Played a local social club which was OK but quite a poor turnout. We played well enough and the few that were there seemed to enjoy it.
Onwards to 2023!
Played a social club last night that we last played before lockdown. Not a bad size crowd and we played well with a dep drummer (our usual drummers brother).
I saw Stray a few years ago supporting Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash at Marshalls in Bletchley. That was when your predecessor Stu (who I knew vaguely through a mutual musician friend) was playing bass.
Watched an Arena documentary on BBC4 last night about Chrissie Hynde. I guess it was a repeat but not certain Although I am not particularly a fan I found it very interesting and well worth a watch.
