Hi guys! Up for sale is my beloved GALLIEN KRUEGER Fusion 550 head. It is in like new condition and it has newer left the rehearsal. I really don't want to part with it as I absolutely love this amp but I have to let it go, due to the lack of time. It is absolutely flawless condition and has never been gigged. I am located in Germany but willing to ship worldwide. I am asking 650£ for it or best offer. The GK Fusion 550 comes with the original footswitch and cable. I also have two matching GALLIEN KRUEGER cabs (4x10" SBX / 1x15" SBX) for sale, but this should be more attractive to people from Germany as shipping might be quite expensive. Drop me a line if you are interested. Thank you!
Lane Poor! Seemingly, these are more collectible with the Lane Poor pickup because they're not made anymore. I always preferred them with the Bartolini pickup as it sounded a little burpier to my ears. Stunning bass though, do you have any pictures of it with strings on?
Hi Chris! I just added three pictures, which is basically all I have. I have some RHCP covers we made a while back in studio as well if you are interested in. Thank you!
Hi bud, good looking Flea bass you got there allthough i must say i've just sold a mint 2006 Fleabass for 1050GBP on here, so your asking price might be a little steep...
Yeah, but as you said it was a 2006 Flea Bass and not the prototype which is slightly 10 years older and has the Lane Poor. But I agree somehow, so I lowered it to 1500 GBP. Thanks!

Hi guys! I have to part with my beautiful and beloved 1997 MODULUS Flea Bass. It is one of the first ones, ever made. It has the incredible LANE POOR MM Pickup and a superb looking Silver Sparkle finish with matching headstock. An original MODULUS hardshell case with all case candies is also included. The bass has been refret by BOGART in december 2010. A bill for that will be included as well. It just sounds and plays like a dream! I have replaced the original GOTOH bridge with a BADASS II without drilling any additional holes! I will also include the original GOTH bridge and the mounting screws aswell. I am located in Germany but willing to ship it worldwide. Drop me a line if you are seriously interested. I am asking 1500£ for it. I am not interested in any trades, sorry! I have uploaded some pictures here: http://s03.trixum.de/upload2/u/X/uXdgnQTO5...0874559316S.jpg http://s03.trixum.de/upload2/N/n/NnIQWcvg5...0874560992S.jpg http://s03.trixum.de/upload2/D/8/D8b7fXTUI...0874562407S.jpg http://s04.trixum.de/upload2/G/N/GN9DErY8w...0874552915S.jpg http://s03.trixum.de/upload2/d/1/d15Jh3Ote...0874554016S.jpg http://s03.trixum.de/upload2/v/U/vUGpgXLZO...0874555672S.jpg http://s04.trixum.de/upload2/O/C/OCWTgm3hq...0874546095S.jpg http://s03.trixum.de/upload2/r/x/rxMoWbVPy...0874547139S.jpg http://s04.trixum.de/upload2/m/G/mG41UODMJ...0874548429S.jpg More information and pictures upon request. Hi guys! I bought a Modulus FB4 (1997) half a year ago from the states. It originally came with a GOTOH bridge installed but the string spacing where not that optimal so I went for a Leo Quan Badass II bridge as replacement. Everything is fine so for and it was pretty easy to install the BAII as the screw holes fitted perfectly. But when I actually have a look on other Modulus 'Flea Bass' or 'Funk Unlimited Bass' which where built in the last years, my bridge position seems a little weird to me. As you can see, the strings at the bridge are very angulated to fit in the slots. I have to do that to get a good string spacing at the fretboard, but I don't believe that is the way it has to be. I believe this setup with the ends of the strings so much angulated in the bridge isn't that healthy and does effect negative for lifetime of the strings and playability, plus optical it sucks when you have a direct look on it. But maybe I am just a little too fussy.. What might be a good suggestion to go for. Thrilling new wholes for the bridge? I really don't want to do that because I want to keep the Bass as original as possible as it is a prototype with Lane Poor PUs and without trussrod. If this might be the only possibilty, how to I have to thrrill them as I don't want the finish to crack when I am thrilling the 'new' holes. Sorry, my English sucks pretty hard. Stupid German Thanks for the help in advance! All the best, Uwe

I am using the FUSION 550 in combination with two cabs (410 SBX/ 115 SBX-II), both 400W / 8 Ohm, so every speaker gets 250W (4 Ohm total load / 500W). I noticed that the fuse of the cabs seem to glow after half an hour of playing with master at 1/2 and gain at 1/4. Plus, the speaker somehow the cabs start to rattle and cause some distortion even if gain in volume is very low. I thought that the cabs last for 400W each, so this should not be a speaker problem. So, what might be the reason for this? I am using a Modulus Flea Bass 4, setting the input to 'Active'. I also tried to set it to 'Passive', but after a while, the cabs start to clip again. The cabs are fine and sound awesome a 'low' volume, but when it gets to 12' o clock and half an hour playing, the seem to blur and rattle and the inside of the cabs look like thunder
Coming to the dark side of the 2001RB i see! Why you wanna get rid of your Fusion?
I actually love the Fusion head and I really don't want to part. The only thing I want to sell it is because I does not provide me enough power to cut through. In my current set up, it delivers me 250W to each cab, which is simply not enough for me. That is actually the point.

Modulus Flea 4 string spacing question
born2lose replied to born2lose's topic in Repairs and Technical
If you don't mind changing the bridge, one of these will give you a little lateral adjustment (the 'Fender' model - it uses three screws out of the five) - I really like them. Hipshot bridge
Hi Steward! Thanks for the quick response. As this bass is all original and has been played for about 12 years I dont want to change any parts and keep it all original. The bass had left factory with this setup so I guess it should be fine. -
Hi guys, I got a Modulus Flea 4 '97 with Lane Poor pickups from the staates last week. She's a really lovely player with pretty low action and fast playable neck. No issues at all except some finish cracks which are hard to notice. Actually when I took a look at the string spacing I just find it kinda weird that the space from the E string measures 0,4cm and from the G string it is 1 cm! Is this like it should be? Everything is original on this Flea, even the nut, so I guess it left factory with this string setup. I don't have an playing issues but I looks a little weird and the E string could move a little inwards to the neck cause it easly is pulled off. As the Gotoh bride just can be adjusted and the height, not in width, could anybody suggest me what to do? thanks in advance, Uwe

I have my fingers crossed all of you will get one. Honestly, please let me know when you touched it with your own hands and I will get another one aswell I ordered 1(!) in Dec'08 because they suddenly had 1(!) in stock. I wanted to buy one for my friend aswell but no chance. Since than the price raised over 150€, needless to say they did not have one in stock until Mai and they were "OFF" since Mai until this day. That's a fact. Many sellers or dealers claim to have it 'in stock' or whatever even if the don't and that's a fact, too. Dissapointment may be big when your money will be returned after waiting for months. I can tell you stories about that..

I actually was the lucky first customer who got it over here in Germany by end of December 2008 1150 GBP shipped via DHL to UK. It is like new condition and never left my living room, plus it still has 2,5 years warranty. Will ship in original packaging incl. footswitch and bill. Bought it at Thomann, so no problem returning it for any service. Just for the truth, my living room amp Thanks, Uwe
