Bands Wanted

I think anybody who would have wanted to, will have read my post by now so I have removed it, for what I hope would be obvious reasons seeing as this page will appear in public and I'm not a spokeperson or something like that. Once again, apologies as I know it is frustrating
2. Cabs are gone pending a trade I hope. The head is still available.

Behringer

My old school had a behringer combo they used for the concerts. It served its purpose and did it well, like an old peavey combo might. Although personally, given the choice I'd take that Ashdown that was linked a couple of posts above mine. They've very good for the price.
4. If the interface can do 8 tracks, then it will record 8 tracks.
5.
My gut reaction would be to say 'yes' but a quick browse of the manual shows that the impedance selector only allows setting either 2Ω or 4Ω. I'd go by what the manual says...
That impedance you would be selecting is the the minimum impedance, so you could still use an 8 Ohm load, but only receive half the total wattage you would normally get.
6. Purple Turtle is a decent option. I was there for a gig recently, sound engineer wasn't as good as I would have hoped though.
our experience of this Tristan guy was not at all positive.
I'm sorry to hear how badly things went.
8. tbh, most of our riders end up coming in the day before sometimes! Big bands will probably be a bit more organised though!
9. Weirdest riders we've had at our venue have included glow-in-dark condoms as well as dildos and lube.
10.
No not true, USB suffers in the same way as PATA harddrive drive interfaces in that it requires some CPU and that can become an issue when you start pushing (under certain circumstances not very) hard and you get close to the limit of bandwidth when the CPU is busy.
But generally speaking...
11.
" Even though and this is something i wonder myself, because it usb, and im under the impression that with usb you cant record nultiple tracks in the one go. So whats the point in having multiple input usb interfaces. Or can you record multiple tracks with usb now."
You can record multiple tracks, and always have been able to. There is no limit on the amount of channels. All that limits a USB connection is the bandwidth, which is 400mbps I believe.
12. I meant your 104 traveler cab for my orange sp210 cab. I already have a head I do have another head that we could include in the deal if you that's what you need rather than a cab (or as well as)? It's an Ashdown Little Giant 350.
13. I can't think of any that actually work as a standalone unit and will store on the device, so you'd need to be using it in conjunction with a computer. But, Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. Very good and flexible. It is firewire rather than USB though.
14. Straight trade with an Orange SP210? I bought it second hand a couple of months ago for £370 off here. The SP210 being the absolutely tiny 2x10 isobaric 600W cab that is pretty hard to come by? Seems to fit the bill as to what you're after!
15. Need to sell this very soon so I have some money. I have my new rig now so this doesn't get used at all. http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/ashdown-...2-cabs/81794526 Have posted it on gumtree but a sale through here will probably be easier! I've moved on to Orange gear so need to sell off my old full stack. What you'll get is: Ashdown Little Giant 350 Head (mounted in a flightcase) Ashdown MAG210T Cab Ashdown MAG115 Cab This is a complete rig, perfect for if you're stepping up to a gigging standard and want to do it with a full stack rather than a small combo. All the kit is in perfect condition, a couple of marks etc. but nothing else. Available immediately and feel free to come over and try before you buy! Collection only as this thing isn't small enough to post easily. Looking for £350 for the whole setup. I'm moving house back to Epsom later so today is the last day it is in Bournemouth so if you're local and want a cheap rig then get in quick!
16. Hiya. I use the full version of Logic and would definitely recommend it. However, as you're just starting out then Logic Express would be the perfect solution! As for hardware, I personally use a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. I'd highly recommend it and it would suit what you want, however if you want to save then perhaps consider one of the cheaper models in the Saffire Pro range Alternatively a MOTU or an M-Box would be suitable.
We want 10 grand, 6 bottles of Krug and a packet of dry roasted peanuts.
I think we could handle the peanuts, but otherwise, I think not...
18. He always used to be an Ampeg guy. Glad to see he's still using Thunderbirds though! I had to go somewhere yesterday, otherwise I would definitely have come
