1. Still looking for a drummer or bassist.
2. If you can find a smaller Soundcraft Spirit that might do the job. Alternatively, it pains me to say it but consider one of the powered Behringers? They're probably spot on for what you need.
3. Have seen a lot of Line6 systems getting used recently, on bass as well. Certainly worked well from what I heard and saw! Quite a bit cheaper than the Shure Pro systems that I used to use as well!
4. Not mine, but when I looked at it, it was at a good price!
5. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/gibson-ripper-bass-g...=item3cb7af7a97 Don't come up very often.
6.
For that sort of money, you're in the realms of Beyer DT100s... (or the variations thereof) perhaps not the most inspired choice, but a studio standard for a reason! (and you can get all the parts!)
DT100 and 150s are good but uncomfortable after a while. Try some on before you buy! Same goes for any headset I think.
7. It's always Fender through Ampeg wherever I look...
8. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fender-Precision-Bas...074937489073335 Gggggooood deal?
9. That is correct. Gibson do not sell replacements. I'm sure if you called their factory and asked they'd sell them but at a hefty price!
10. This has the strap button moved to the back of the heal to help solve neck dive.
11. Sound, disappointing? It's great! Just not your usual!
12. Tbirds, why does no-one want them (moreover mine)
13.
Theres a 212 for sale here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=133748
Thanks, collection only though Will send a PM just in case postage is an option.

Mic up/output?

Record a DI from your guitar, rather than your amp. Then mix this with the signal from a microphone put to your amp.
15. Or just play it twice, thus making it sound like there are two guitarists. Solved? Like a pro....
16. Having never done a trade before I was unsure of the custom yet I'm sure it turned out like all others; Brief staring followed by: "Basschat?" "Yep" "Hi!" Then rapid deep discussion confusing everyone around us...
17. I bought an SP210 to go with mine but it's been lost by Parcelforce. Anybody able to point towards another one?
18.
The bass has really grown on me, I rather wish id picked up one of the blue strats or teles now, don't suppose anyone has one going?
I have both a strat and a tele for sale if you fancy them? Restrung with EB Slinkies, will sell for £60 each.
19. Noel Joyce. I've been playing 12 years and he is the one who taught me. Truely amazing and a nice guy. A Google search should find him.
20. I've run out of space so don't mind moving mine on. It's the lovely dark blue with rosewood board. Strung with a new set of EB Super Slinkies. £60 collection if anyone is interested.
21. I know nothing about precisions so decided to go straight in the middle and get a USA Standard.
