1. The bass is too high in the mix and the guitar needs to be much much louder.
2. Resurrection from beyond the grave!
3. Markbass seems to have fallen down a little on how it was held a couple of years ago.
4. Hello. Bought this because there were no Gibsons around but I now spy a ship to plunder! This is being sold to generate some of the money that'll go towards buying the new one I bought it off here a few months ago (here is the thread from it's previous sale: http://basschat.co.u...opic=76465&st=0) and it's still is great condition and comes with the hardcase as well. Looking for what I paid for it which is £220. Collection would make things much much easier for me but if you want to organise it we can sort out delivery.
5. Cheap pocket sized bass-head a good second option? Selling my Little Giant 350W if anybody fancies a bit more security
I do the same a lot of guys here on my jazz... ............. everything on the neck pup, bridge zero, tone set low..... ..............and then it sounds like my P bass
I realised that's what I was always doing, so I decided to get a P-bass instead
7. As a drummer, I assure you, I'm as confused as you are! I've never seen anything like that before!

10. When I couldn't decide between two Thunderbirds I was on the brink of buying both.
11.
Look for the Squier-badged Mustang basses, perhaps?
Do that and she'll have a luxury most beginners don't have; a bass that's cheap but good and appropriate!
12. Yep. The minirigs sound amazing yet don't have enough volume for gigs. The EB 12 and 15 combos are louder and will be alright for small shows.
13. If you're able to spend a bit more have a look at the Ibanez Promethean. I was going to get one but then I decided to go down the orange route instead.
14. Alternatively, if there is a drummer out there then I can do bass instead...
15. What you're describing is that the guitarists might be using stereo cabs?
16. http://www.probass.co.uk/Home.html So these, any good? Keep seeing adverts for them on TB.
17. Has anyone been tempted to use all their heads and cabs to create some mammoth wall of sound, and try it at home?
