1. Bought Dan's Fuzzrocious Grey Stache. Great comms, and I can't believe how quickly it got here!... Thanks Dan!
2. Thanks Si, Yep, I guess you ultimately have to fine these things out for yourself! ;-) Do you know what I'm to expect in terms of character from the Germaniums? I understand they're a bit less harsh than silicon, and less gainy than silicon and LED? I'm now tempted to keep the ARC BGP for face melting, and have this as a nice mid-fuzz if that's the case? Again, thanks for any advice!
3. Just bought Danweb22's love Grey Stache, and looking forward to receiving it! :-) One concern I have though is that I use very hot main basses (18v circuit, active pickups), and I'm slightly concerned over whether the Germanium diodes will react well to this? A problem I've had with Muffs and clones in the past is the volume drop, which I think may be a result of the input overdriving and the fuzz compressing too much. Does anyone use a germanium Stache with an active bass? How do you find it? Any comments will be much appreciated! Al
4. Oh, it's that easy!? I was under the impression that you had to get at the insides of the WH1 to re-calibrate it, for some reason... Will give it a go later, thanks for the advice!
5. Really!? Well let me know Ant, I'll give you money for them/one! I'm missing one on the heel end, and the worry is that it won't be in tune with the heel down if the other falls off...Is this not the case then?
6. Just to say thanks very much to all for the advice, I got one of these off matejj53 with the ep-2 and loving it! Currently using the "Basic Lowpass Wah" setting from the manual for sweeps (with my Bassdrive or ARC driving it), or without the pedal with 2-pole and full envelope for a great envelope filter! Be interested to hear how you guys use it, and any special settings you have that you love ;-) Thanks again! Al
7. Massive long-shot here, but does anyone know where I can get hold of these? It's the rubber squares under the treadle seen here: http://medias.audiofanzine.com/images/normal/digitech-whammy-wh-1-48025.jpg Can't find the same size on eBay. Emailed Digitech, and their (expected!) response was "Unfortunately, those original parts are no longer available"... Any help in locating them will be much appreciated!!! Thanks, Al
8. Bought the ARC Big Green Pi off Kev. What can I say!? Speedy delivery and packed so well that it'd survive an atom blast! Thanks Kev, deal with confidence everyone!...
9. I bought Matt's Moogerfooger Low Pass Filter off him. Really smooth transaction and great communication, highly recommended!
10. £700!!!...JFC, mental. I bought one of these when they came out, and sold it cos I thought it sounded crap. Wish I'd had the foresight... Also can't believe there are that many Muse/Wolstenholme fans out there!
11. Mine before I sold the 'Muff yesterday... Have a Moog LPF and ARC Green Pi incoming, and not optimistic I'll fit them on there!...
12. Price adjusted, now £35 (inc p&p)!
13. P.s. If you've got one or something similar for sale, do let me know!
14. I am very close to pulling the trigger on one of these for £200, but having doubts... I'll mainly want to be using this for big filter sweeps, with fuzz and whammy in front (for 5th harmony). Perhaps a stupid question, but does it do this well? Better than an EHX Bass Microsynth for example? Is it really worth the money, or are there cheaper and better alternatives (IE Xerograph, etc)? Any help or comments will be much appreciated! Thanks, Al
15. Does anyone use one of these on bass? How does it sound? Better/worse than the Bass Whammy? Does the lack of true bypass really affect the tone when the pedal's turned off? I've been offered one of these for £200 and very tempted to go for it, but it is a lot for something that I can't help finding a little gimmicky! Any opinions will be much appreciated!
16. Recently bought from Lenny B with the intention to mod it, but now bought Paul_5's modded Muff so this is no longer required! Works fine, few scratches. SOLD Shown in pic below with other pedals for sale!
17. 80s Japan-made delay unit. Think this came between the DD-2 and DD-3, and it has a great delay on it! Works fine, only issue is that the "Level" knob has been snapped off. It's still possible to adjust the stub with your finger, but obviously not great for on-the-fly adjustments during gigs! Sold (pending payment)
18. Turbo Rat - This is an old one with the LM308 chip. Works fine apart from the footswitch, which is playing up a little and may need replacing. Cosmetically a few scratches and the screw from the battery cover is missing (the battery cover's there though!) SOLD. Shown in pic below with other pedals for sale!
