  1. I never did it in the end. Been gigging the Guild and happy with it stock (although intrigue will get the better of me one day……..).
  2. Get the Guild Starfire 1. I have a couple and think they are great. All the things you want; light, play really well and sound P bass ish.
  3. Sold a bass to Richard. Really easy communication and would happily deal again. Cheers.
  4. Eastman t64/v-t in excellent condition with case. Lovely playing guitar with wonderful sounding Lollar P90 pickups. Tuners upgraded to Kluson Deluxe ones (originals included) and knob pointers added to controls. Reluctant sale. £1,300.
  5. Just sold a bass to Dave. Easy to deal with and highly recommended. Cheers.
  6. Pictures updated
  7. Yes, quite a bit of interest but currently still available. The finish is satin, as is the neck. The trussrod adjustment is at the headstock. The strings are the stock Fender rounds. The gigbag is the stock Fender one. To be honest it’s more of a dust cover, but does an ok job.
  8. Up for sale is my Guild Starfire 1 bass in walnut. I love these basses, and have 3 of them, but a hefty car bill means I'm looking to move on my 'backup'. It's hardly used and in excellent condition. Also included is a Rockbag Deluxe Hollowbody gigbag. £400 delivered.
  9. I have a box for this, so can post.
  10. It comes in at roughly 7 1/2lbs on my bathroom scales.
  11. Fender Japan Junior short scale Jazz bass in excellent condition. These are awesome, I just prefer my Guild. 30” scale, light (around 7 1/2lbs), and lovely to play. Comes with gig bag. £825.
  12. I've done a few bigger gigs lately and fancy getting a cab to go with my 1x12 combo for more volume, and to get the sound closer to my ear for these. The last couple I've DI'd from the amp and tilted it towards me so I can hear it clearly, but I'd like a 2x10 or 2x12 that I can put the combo on. It needs to be 8 ohm and I'm struggling to find a used Tecamp one, so looking elsewhere. My combo has a silver Fender style grill so I'm looking at the Fender Rumble cabs as they would be a nice match. I was just wondering if there was anything else out there that would work too, and ideally be under £500. I've only ever used combos on bass, so the world of cabs is new to me. Would the Fender ones be a good match for the Tecamp? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.
  13. Good quality gig bag for hollowbody basses. Only used for storage so in great condition. £40 Details here: https://shop.warwick.de/en/cases-bags/bass-bags/e-bass-bags/22093/rockbag-deluxe-line-hollowbody-bass-gig-bag
  14. I'm getting 7.3lbs on the bathroom scales.
  15. Still available.
  16. Up for sale is my Jim Deacon short scale Precision bass. Cool 30” scale P bass that I had intended to mod but I’m so happy with my Guild Starfire I’m not going to bother so may as well move it on. Fitted with DR Sunbeam strings and comes with a Fender short scale gig bag. £120. I’m pretty sure I have a box in the loft so can be posted if necessary.
  17. Here’s a couple of pictures. The internal length is 45 1/2” and lower bout width is 16”. Hopefully that helps find the exact case.
  18. I'm not sure to be honest, sorry. I could measure it when I get home if that helps?
  19. I have a Guild Starfire hard case which fits them well, but I tend to use an Epiphone Rivoli hard case which is a bit more compact.
  20. Just bought a Guild Starfire 1 from Simon. Really easy and pleasant, and the bass is great. Cheers!
