  2. Another reluctant sale..... These amps are awesome, but like my guitar, being primarily a bass player it's one thing I can do without. Award Session Bluesbaby 45 in excellent condition. It's finished in a lovely tweed tolex and is fitted with a Celestion Creamback Neo speaker. Amazing sounding amp and extremely light at roughly 10kg. Comes with Roqsolid cover. £375 collected from Beccles, Suffolk.
  3. This is a very reluctant sale but money is tight so needs must. I got this as one guitar for all my playing; fingerpicking, jazz comping & slide, and it is perfect. However, I'm primarily a bass player now so when looking around for things to sell the 6 string was the obvious contender. It's a Loar LH301T from 2015 in lovely condition. I have had the original P90 pickup replaced with a Lindy Fralin Hum-Cancelling P90, which was a vast improvement (original included). Pickup risers have been added to get the P90 at the right height. The pots, wiring and jack have been upgraded too. I also had the frets dressed towards the end of last year, and it's set up with John Pearse 12-54 nickel strings. An awesome guitar which I really don't want to sell. Comes with a top quality Reunion Blues RBX gig bag. £650 posted.
  4. Just to update, I thought I’d try some TI flats on this today and they are a marked improvement on the Hofner flats so I’ll leave them on.
  5. I have only just got this via Facebook after a few years of looking out for one. However, having spent most of yesterday getting to know it I find I just prefer my Epiphone archtop bass for the hollowbody thing. Plus there is a medium scale Precision I've got my eye on and can't really justify 2 new basses at this time. So, up for grabs is this Epiphone Rivoli reissue bass from 1994. Made in the Peerless factory and in good condition. Fitted with TI Jazz Flatwounds (pictures are with Hofner strings). The bass boost switch works and I can't see any issues with it. I've tried to show the lacquer cracking on the neck. My Epiphone Les Paul also did this and it looks solid to me. Comes with a gig bag. £420. I have a box so can post.
  6. Sorry, I don’t have the facility to do that.
  7. Bought a few years back on here but hardly used as I only play in an old time style band. In excellent condition with manual. £75 delivered.
  8. That's beautiful!
  9. Epiphone Masterbilt DeLuxe Century archtop acoustic bass in excellent condition. Fitted with Labella 760N black nylon tape wound strings which I think are an improvement on the stock D'addario tapewounds. The original piezo pickups on these aren't great, but I know some people can make them work for what they want. These basses play well and look super cool, so I had some dialog with Aaron at Kent Armstrong pickups about other options that would work for me. He has wound me custom floating pickups for these basses (I have two), which give the lovely warm, full tone that I requested. This has been wired directly to the output jack, with the piezo disconnected. The bass now has a beautiful double bass type sound which works brilliantly for the old time stuff I play. Also sounds great unplugged, and when played with a pick sits nicely with an acoustic guitar. Is even louder with roundwounds, but I prefer the tone of the tape wounds. My gigging bass is the natural finish version, and I got this one as I wanted a sunburst too. Now other things are needed so this one’s up for sale. I will also include the stock D'addario Black Nylon strings and a gig bag in the sale. Collection much preferred but please contact me for a potential meet somewhere. I have a box so postage is possible.
  10. Labella 760N, Labella 760T SOLD & Labella 760G SOLD. All medium scale and cut for 2 a side headstock. £15 each D’addario ETB92M. Medium scale and cut for 2 a side headstock. £10 SOLD
  11. Currently fitted with Labella 760T white nylon strings that I will also include. Open to offers.
  12. New and unused medium scale string sets: Labella 760T white nylons £32 Status Half wound £12
  13. Up for sale is my Tecamp Puma 112 combo. It sounds great and is in good condition. I’ve gigged it for the last few years and it’s been ace. Comes with cover. £500.
  14. Out of interest, to get an idea of size, are they medium scale or long scale Labellas?
  15. Would consider a trade/part exchange for a jazz bass.

  17. Up for sale is my Kala Ubass Rumbler. I bought this on the forum earlier in the year from Linus27. It’s in great condition, and I changed the strings to Galli Flatwounds which I think feel much better. I will include the Silver Rumblers it came with, as well as the foam case. Only selling as I’ve hardly used it. Would consider a trade/part exchange for a precision or jazz bass. £250 delivered ono.
  18. Epiphone Masterbilt DeLuxe Century archtop acoustic bass in excellent condition. Fitted with Labella 760N black nylon strings which I think are an improvement on the stock D'addario’s. The original piezo pickups on these are pretty bad, but I know some people can make them work for what they want. These basses play well and look super cool, so I had some dialog with Aaron at Kent Armstrong pickups about other options that would work for me. He has wound me custom floating pickups for these basses, which give the lovely warm, thuddy tone that I requested. This has been wired directly to the output jack, with the piezo disconnected. The bass now has a beautiful double bass type sound which works brilliantly for the old time stuff I play. Also sounds great unplugged, and when played with a pick sits nicely with an acoustic guitar. Is even louder with roundwounds, but I prefer the tone of the tapes. My gigging bass is the natural finish version, and I got this one as I wanted a sunburst too. Now other things are needed so this one’s up for sale. £550 Would consider a trade/part exchange for a precision or jazz bass. I will also include the stock D'addario Black Nylon strings and a gig bag in the sale. Collection much preferred but please contact me for a potential meet somewhere or posting.
  19. No, just been asked to look into courier options to Europe for someone.
  20. Yes, currently.
  21. 30” scale, but the bridge/tailpiece means medium scale strings are needed.
  22. I love these basses, and this is my third....... However I've been lured out of electric guitar retirement and need some money to buy an amp. Plus my wife has made it quite clear to me that having three of the same bass is pretty ridiculous. Epiphone Masterbilt DeLuxe Century archtop bass in mint condition. Fitted with the stock strings D'addario strings, and original piezo pickup. I'm not a fan of piezo pickups so never used them, however I know some people can make them work for what they want. These basses play well and look super cool, so I had some dialog with Aaron at Kent Armstrong pickups about other options. He has wound custom floating pickups for my other two basses, which give the lovely warm, thuddy tone that I requested. I will include the original black prototype he made with this bass, along with a little wooden wedge that helps when fitting it. I am looking for £350 for this, and would much rather it be collected from Beccles, Suffolk. However I have a box if that is not an option. I will also include another set of the stock D'addario Black Nylon strings.
  23. Just had a look at the Status strings; 45-105 look good and very nicely priced. I’ll give them a try, thanks. The Epiphone with a high bridge and plectrum is surprisingly loud. It’s perfect for our acoustic practices with vocals, guitar, fiddle and snare.
