  1. One, but reading some of these horror stories, I might make it two.
  2. One of my bands use clicks for some stuff - I've never felt it's lifelsess or robotic, and you can be as spontaneous as you like as long as it's in time! I got this gig because I was comfortable playing to a click - Another string to your bow and a useful skill to have IMO.
  3. Absolutely. Or not doing the gig?!
  4. Understand how disheartening it is to see someone in the front row looking bored, but posting their face on Twitter is well out of order. He's deleted it and (sort of) apologised, so that's to his credit. I'm a big Royal Blood fan, but berating the audience at a Radio 1 roadshow for not knowing who they are makes him look like a right male appendage.
  5. Surely *someone* on here still uses Rounds?! Make me an offer?
  6. Came with an EHX PSU but it wasn't the sort that allows these to attach. Yours for two quid postage, which I will almost certainly decide is not worth bothering with and send them for nothing.
  7. Or Voodoo Lab Pedaltrain mounting brackets if you prefer. For mounting a Voodoo Lab PSU under the larger size Pedaltrain boards - Classic JR and upwards I think. Won't fit under the Nano. No screws included. One of the longer lugs is slightly bent. Yours for a fiver posted.
  8. Just finished on R4 - listen again here https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001msrm Talking about his book and how Spinal Tap definitely isn't based on Sabbath.
  9. EB Sterling sounds great for rock.
  10. Psychedelic all the way!
  11. Hello from Bewdley. Welcome back!
  12. Great idea. Ten points!
  13. 100% The best bits bag there is - had mine since god was a boy and it's still going strong. It fits everything I need, everything I don't and you can *always* stuff something else in, even when it's "full".
  14. Bought some big band charts from Alan - top transaction all the way!
  15. The Dysfunctionals - typical saturday night pub stuff. Hope you have as good a night as we did!
  16. Had a FANTASTIC gig tonight at O'Neills Leicester - the place was packed otut, everybody up and dancing and singing, they were bouncing off the walls by the end. Prooper "This is why we do it" type of gig. Happy!
  17. Ernie Ball Slinky 5s - 45-130 - £20 EB Slinky single 130 - £5 All unopened and unused Scientifically proven to make you more attractive. £1.50 postage however many you buy. Will trade for EB Cobalt Flats 45-100, La Bella DTFs or 60s Jazz Bass (with cash my way).
  18. The good: I sang lead vocals on two songs and the band were full of praise. The bad: We played the first set to ten people, the second set to six and the last three songs to the barmaid. I'm sure the two aren't linked and I still got paid a hundred quid cash, so.... a mixed bag?
  19. Fun Fact: The Forth suspension bridge is where the term "Suspended Forth" comes from.
  20. One of the true All-Time Greats. Love his style - incredibly musical, technically superb, but only ever played for the song, never to show off his chops. So many good lines to choose from... Barbarism (obviously), This Charming Man, Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now, Paint a Vulgar Picture... but I think The Queen is Dead would be my Desert Island Smiths Bassline. RIP
  21. If you can afford it and you like it, buy it. There ain't no pockets in a shroud!
  22. What's the weight, please?
  23. Flip my Tiddlywinks, that is gorgeous. If the binding and blocks were black, I'd be all over it like a randy shower curtain... If it's still here the next time I'm drunk (Friday) you can expect a PM 🤪
