  1. I bought a Helicon case from Poland - it took ages (maybe about three weeks?) to arrive, due to the Ukraine situation, Brexit and covid. The further good news is that when it arrives, you'll probably have to pay VAT, import taxes, window tax etc etc etc Sorry, this probably isn't what you wanted to hear!
  2. TOP little amp. Loud enough to keep up with a (sensible) drummer, and sounds great with Double Bass as well. GLWTS
  3. Any chance you could share the image file?!
  4. '94 StingRay all day long. Had mine for just short of thirty years (!) and I still grin every time I look at it. An absolute joy to play, sounds great for any style of music, built like a tank, looks to die for... nothing else comes close for me.
  5. I had Steve (the feller in Brum recommended on the amp tech thread) look at it. He couldn't get it to go wrong despite having it running for a full day (!) so he replaced/cleaned/reseated/resoldered everything that could have been causing it. I'll find out if it worked at the gig on Sunday.
  6. Aphex Aural xCiter with Big Bottom Now £20 Stop sniggering. Seems to not work properly with a PSU. The aural exciter bit seems not to do much at all, even with battery power. Sold as not working. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  7. Sounds absolutely insanely filthy (in a good way) Lightly used, but good condition. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  8. Used but good condition. The LED has been replaced with a super bright blue one, which looks the business. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  9. The original 1990s Digitech Bass Whammy. Used but full working order. Sounds great - loads of fun, wacky noises. Team it with the synth I'm also selling! Includes (non original) power supply. (I think it's 12V AC) The side things have come off and have glue on them (not my fault) Velcro on the bottom. UK postage will be a tenner insured, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  10. JD Bass Wah 105Q Sounds Funktabulous (technical term) The bottom plate is not original - I had it on upside down for reasons that are too dull to go into here. Come with the feet (not pictured) Bit scruffy looking, but perfect working order. Volume and Q controls, and some sort of trim pot on the inside. Used, but full working order - tested this very afternoon. UK postage will be £8 or you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  11. Used, but good condition. Velcro on the bottom. Select from chorus, flanger and Pitch modulation. Sounds mint. Stereo or mono output. Full working order - tested this very afternoon. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  12. Big fat Bass boost! Bit of glue on the bottom. Used, but full working order - tested this very afternoon. 13. Boss Bass distortion / overdrive Used but good condition. The LED has been replaced with a yellow one to match the pedal, because I'm that sort of chap. Sounds mint - capable of everything from full on earth-shattering distortion to subtle slightly overdriven crunch. Full working order - tested this very afternoon. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  14. EBS Octabass. Early version, so no switch, just controls for signal and octave. Velcro on the bottom. Used, full working order, sounds great. In fact, it sounds PHAT and will kick you in the chest through a decent amp. Full working order - tested this very afternoon. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  15. Boss SYB-3 Bass Synth pedal. Used but good condition - peefect working order. Velcro on the bottom. 11 different modes, including square waves, sawtooth waves, autowahs, added distortion, frequency oscillators... all sorts. There's a sticker on the side that (sort of) tells you what each mode is. The LED has been swapped for a colour changing one - it goes red > green > blue. Looks great! Full working order - tested this very afternoon. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  16. Samson Airline 77 wireless sytem. Pedalboard friendly reciever (with velcro on the bottom) and Bass friendly transmitter. Used, but in good condition - full working order. Great fun! Includes Peli case for the transmitter and even comes with the original manual. Full working order - tested this very afternoon. I'll even throw in a couple of batteries for the transmitter. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  17. Fifty five dollars?!" I'll have one!
  18. This thread makes me so grateful for my neighbours... when I asked if me playing my Sousaphone was too noisy for them, they said they liked hearing me play. Straight on the christmas card and Prosecco list! I never play anything before 10am or after 9pm, that seems reasonable.
  19. It's Sousaphone! And they're definitely the future, 'cos all the kids are into hundred year old jazz, aren't they?!
  20. A gram of speed and a couple of decent Es, you'll soon get into it.
