  1. Boss SYB-3 Bass Synth pedal. Used but good condition - peefect working order. Velcro on the bottom. 11 different modes, including square waves, sawtooth waves, autowahs, added distortion, frequency oscillators... all sorts. There's a sticker on the side that (sort of) tells you what each mode is. The LED has been swapped for a colour changing one - it goes red > green > blue. Looks great! Full working order - tested this very afternoon. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  2. Samson Airline 77 wireless sytem. Pedalboard friendly reciever (with velcro on the bottom) and Bass friendly transmitter. Used, but in good condition - full working order. Great fun! Includes Peli case for the transmitter and even comes with the original manual. Full working order - tested this very afternoon. I'll even throw in a couple of batteries for the transmitter. UK postage will be a fiver, you are welcome to collect from Bewdley (near Kidderminstter) and pay cash for free. Paypal friends and family if I'm posting please. Any questions, please DM me.
  3. Fifty five dollars?!" I'll have one!
  4. This thread makes me so grateful for my neighbours... when I asked if me playing my Sousaphone was too noisy for them, they said they liked hearing me play. Straight on the christmas card and Prosecco list! I never play anything before 10am or after 9pm, that seems reasonable.
  5. It's Sousaphone! And they're definitely the future, 'cos all the kids are into hundred year old jazz, aren't they?!
  6. A gram of speed and a couple of decent Es, you'll soon get into it.
  7. +1 for the Fishman Platinum. I've got one of the old (Pro-EQ Platinum?) ones and it's a great bit of kit.
  8. No problem - enjoy the Harley Benton, and don't forget to do a NBD thread!
  9. I'm driving from the West Midlands to Manchester on Friday, for five quid petrol I'll pick it up and bring it with me if you want?
  10. I bought a pedalboard from Kaiser_QTT and it was an easy, pleasant transaction. Cheers
  11. I like an amp for home practicing - it feels more like the real thing to me. Laptop into decent hifi speakers for listening/playing along with. A headphones option is a good thing to have - most decent practice/bedroom amps have aux in and headphone out now, I think?
  12. Adagio flatwounds Probably 40-100 ish Cut for a StingRay, used a bit. Decent, cheap way to see if you like flats. Yours for the price of posing
  13. Ashdown Meters in ear headphones earbuds. Brand new, used once. They're lovely but they're not being used anymore. Made by the famous/hated Bass Amp manufacturers. They have a volume control that works on my Samsung S8 and a mic for phone calls. Complete with original box, carrying case and three different size squishy earbud things. Yours for the cost of postage
  14. Ernie Ball Musicians toolkit but without the tools. The case from an Ernie Ball musicians toolkit - I have removed and kept the tools so it is just the case. There's elastic loops to keep all your tools from flying around. Brand new. Yours for the cost of postage.
  15. At soundcheck last night, My Markbass speakers both cut out. The FOH was getting signal from the DI out, but the speakers weren' working. Turned off and on sorted it for about five minutes, then it happened again. It's a CMD121P combo with an NY121 attached via Speakon. I unplugged the NY121 and the combo on its own worked fine all night. I play a StingRay through a Sansamp if that's relevant. Any ideas what could be causing this? Is it the speaker or the combo? EDIT: The combo is pretty old - made in Italy I think. There's no DI out level control. On the plus side, the gig was pretty good.
  16. I like my Ernie Ball ones - had them on all three basses for ten (?) years and never had a hint of a problem.
  17. I'd probably want a monitor if I was singing. IEMs might be worth looking into - I got some KZ ZS10 pros and a Behringer Powerplay P2 for much cheapness and they do the job. Also look at the Behringer Eurolive B205D (Mackie, Subzero, Thomann and a few other makes do a similar thing) - tiny speaker with lots of poke.
  18. I really like it - beautifully simple. I like MusicMans (MusicMen?) and I like Jazz Basses, so ... it's a yes from me. I don't know enough about Joe Dart to dislike him, but he's a better Bass player than me, so I'll leave him to it 🙂
  19. Great Video, nice one. I kinda want a P Bass now....
  20. Same age as me and in much better nick. GLWTS
  21. Best gigbag you can get - Mine's still going strong after years of heavy use. GLWTS
  22. That is STUNNING. That neck! Sorely tempted, and I've already got one. Please, someone buy it before I do something expensive!
