1.
These are original 80's US Spector NS2's... the black & white are Kramer made and sunburst is pre-Kramer. All have HazLab preamps...
That sunburst one is my dream spector!

Got my first Spector from Cetera and it's absolutely incredible (bought his Euro LX zebrano), trumped my MTD at the moment, it's just amazing. I love these basses. Will post photos tomorrow night because hopefully by then I'll have another Euro in the house! :)

Bassists are generally nice people with good attitudes I find. I always get on with other bassists. Or maybe that's just basschat making me think I do

I come here for the pictures
Yeah we're a nice little community. I think the small number helps it along :) . Also keeps the level of trust high for sales and the like  .

And to think I used to spend all my hours on TB... . I never got the whole club thing over there though...who cares?

  3. I got long periods of work where I'm having to wait for others so I'll always end up on here. That or playing Miami Shark. Damn I love that game.

Anyhoo, I reckon I lurk far more than I post tbh... I'd love that 4th box under my avatar one day but i doubt that'll happen :)

  4.
Yes,quite a lot of people do place their thumb over the neck in the higher
register. A lot of peoples thumbs also drag behind the rest of their hand.
On a singlecut there is no need for this. You can keep a good hand position
throughout the entire range of the instrument.
But is it a big enough issue to merit spending so much more on a single cut bass? Just correct bad technique yourself surely? Also I've seen some people with what's viewed as horrible technique do wonderful things and sound great. Different argument I guess though! Btw what's the bass in your avatar? It looks lovely! As for the original post I usually am not a fan, though there's a Sei roaming around here that I love. In fact I think it's in this thread! Really does depend on the bass :)

  5. hmm...crazy. Her and my grandmother share the same first name (pronounced moy (like first bit of chris moyles) knee if anyone cares lol)

Very talented too :) , though I suspect a lot of pushy parent involvement...doesn't exactly seem to be having the time of her life up there does she?

  6.
This is lovely, again exactly what I was looking for for months and then ended up buying a new MIA instead because of unrealistic prices and availability. Cant believe it's still here - and what a great price Ash!

PS your avatars are awesome. My cat agrees.
Cheers mate, thanks for the kind words :) . Despite my wishes to the contrary this is going to have to go down ebay way if it isn't sold/has serious interest by next weekend. I really need some money lol.

    Bump!

  7.
I am looking for a lighter amp and cab as i use the orange in church and in the odd pub gig . i looking at some of the epifani gear at the moment. probably a 410 cab and an amp of some sort.

what do you play / use ?
The Epi 410s are badass. Absolutely huge sounding for something so light :) I paired mine with a mesa head and it was unreal. If I hadn't gone the Matamp route recently I would have had this off you in a second. Best of luck with the sale!
