Hey guys, Gonna admit it here, I'm a huuuuuge Paramore fan Anyhoo I noticed the amp the bassist is using in their most recent video. I think I spotted him plugging into it so I reckon it is a combo, yet it looks massive! Maybe 610 kind of size + amp. Anyone know what this is? Just interested is all. Screens: if you want to see it moving mmm hayley...
Now the exchange rate is back to normal....im thinking of importing a Shuttlemax just because they seem really versatile and very cheap over there. Anyone used Bass Central before?
Yep Great guys, nothing is too much for them. Just expect a hard sell! I remember their manager (name escapes me, he was a body builder) flirting outrageously with my mom on the phone for about 40 mins... So literally a hard sell then eh?
Any chance of some pics, Thanks.
Heya, Just thought I'd give a heads up with what's happening - I'm currently living at my girlfriends' because it knocks off 45 minutes of my commute to Birmingham each day, so I don't have a access to it at the moment. If I can get away at a decent time tomorrow I'll pop home and try and get photos. If that fails I'll have them up Saturday evening . In the meantime, the 410 is this one here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...p;hl=ampeg+sean Thanks for the interest!

Hello there, I'm looking to sell my Ampeg Classic 410E and 115E. Looking to downsize to a single 410, and since I'll be picking up a new amp at some point call me vain but I'd like to be consistent in my amp and cab brand choice. Pics at whenever I make it home, but both are in extremely good nick and haven't seen too much gig time. I can guarantee the 410 is american made, I'm pretty sure the 115 is as well but I will confirm that from the serial numbers. Pick up with cash preferred, I'm all over the country for the time being so I could probably get close enough for a collect Looking for £150 for the 115 and ...£300? for the 410E? I'm not sure of valuation on these so I'm open to negotiation on that. If anyone has a better idea do say, I'm not here to rip anyone off PM for more info Thanks guys

Heya, Since I got this off CK he can probably be much more succinct about this amp so here is what he had to say about it:
These things are in a class of their own. Noone has made or currently makes a stereo valve power amp of this power rating apart from Mesa Boogie and even they don't make this model any more. Built like a nuclear bunker, it has 12 6L6 valves that are designed to barely just tick over when the thing is on full tilt. Result being that you don't really need to replace the power valves as often as other amps. ... Output is 200w a side but there is the facility to connect 2 cabinets per side at 4 or 8 ohms. So potentially you could hook up eight 8ohm cabs to a single amp using linking jacks on the cabs. (Or eight 8 ohm Barefaced compacts if you like! laugh.gif) There are left and right channel inputs and there is also a mono summed input as well. There's no bridging facility so you WILL need two cabs to get the best out of it. I had it serviced about 4 months ago where one valve was replaced with a matching example. The amp has fixed biasing so the choices are either replaced a dud valve with one of a value that matches the others, or replace the whole lot (which seems a bit of a waste unless the amp sounds muffled). The power switch was shorting out and got replaced too but Mesa tweaked the design a little so its a little more rounded than the originals. For anyone with specific technical questions, a user manual can be found on the Mesa Boogie site here: http://www.mesaboogie.com/manuals/Strategy...00%20Stereo.pdf Schematic: http://www.freeinfosociety.com/electronics...view.php?id=292 Usual raving at Harmony Central: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...+Power+Amp/10/1
I can supply more pics if requested In terms of sales I would prefer a straight sale as I am gassing for onehappybunny's mesa! I paid £700 for this and would like that back. It is in very good condition and has never left it's rack once it came here. Due to recent exams/using the house rig at shows it also hasn't had alot of gig time (2 or 3 at most). As usual would prefer cash on collection or would be willing to do a meet at a negotiable place. I'm in Oxford at the weekends and am working in Birmingham from about 8.30 -> 7.30 each work day so I'm sure we could work something out . If this is to be sent, it is at the buyer's risk and cost, but quite honestly it would cost a bomb to send. Any more Q's just ask , due to work I can't guarantee a quick response during the week but will do my best Also apparently only 600 of these were made. Crazy. Ta very muchly Ash xxx
