ESP/LTD

From what I've played: looks the mutts nutts, plays and finished like sh!t. However I've only ever played the lower-mid end LTD's, so I can't really judge on anything higher than that. Love the guitars tho...
2. One word - wishbass.
3. it's in the for sale bit...
4.
Ashdown ABM 810, and I want it. Damn exams.
lol what he said...
5. Ah cool, well good luck anyways
6. I'm considering putting an 8x10 on ebay, though these really aren't shifting on the 'bay at the moment. Anyone have any particular theories as to why? Cheers, Ash
7.
Good grief that is beautiful!
+1. niiiiiiice!
8.
I was 16 stone (I’m now under 14)
Repect... Glad to hear you're back on the bass but sorry to hear about the knees. Get well soon!
9. Also one of my mates got a huuuuuuuuge box from the local supermarket, could try there as well.
10. Generally I'd say go to your store, but as that isn't an option try your local courier depo, they always have boxes around and one of my local ones sells them. Hope that helps Ash
11.
Joe Osborn played bass on pretty much all the Mamas and Papas albums.
ah, I didn't know that! well you learn something every day eh? also a +1 for James Leach, absolutely great guy, got to meet him after a gig! Also he uses some exceptionally nice basses (see pic) methinks it's a custom christ macintyre (spelling?) jazz. Could someone give me the correct spelling of that? I think he's based in London, he makes some very nice basses, I'd like to track him down again... loverly... Ah! Found the bass website on his myspace... http://www.mcintyreguitars.com/ Gorgeous!
12. beauty! bump for a lovely bass...
13. I'll be honest when I read the title I was thinking of that "Spinal Tap" moment at the army base...I'm now slightly disappointed Yeah I'd just say try throwing some tin foil on it...
14.
so, any ideas how to keep the amp in place that doesn't involve nailing it down.
...a giant paperweight?
15.
As far as im aware the 4 Strings are only made in Japan.
Ah right. Still, I love them in the sunburst finish...
16. Eugh... can't see the appeal of the one in the ebay link. The white, real blue and gothic ones though are nice...apparently they have major neckdive though?
17. Hmm, I could never get on with my SGC...though looks wise I always thought it was pretty sweet, especially how the finish continued up the neck (see the pic). Though apparently some came with Paduak tops at some point according to the shop that sold me mine. Mine also had Seymour Duncan PU's on an active circuit. Probably a retrofit but hey. Also if anyone is interested in buying one, last time I was in a store near me there was a 5 string (possibly a 325?) SGC in white with the SGC pickups, rosewood board and matching headstock. PM me if anyone wants the info Cheers, Ash Oh yeah and here she was when I had her...
18.
The 4 strings are Japanese whilst the 5's are American.
A while ago I think I got offered a US 4 string in a trade? Of course I'm probably wrong but did they maybe switch production to japan at some point?
19. It's yours isn't it? nah kidding, looks sweet. Anyone gonna take it?
20. I've always been a fan of the lower end peaveys, like the international series. Give em a lookee!
21.
the volume pedal is the only pedal he uses.
Not sure where his distortion comes from, but I'm pretty sure he had more than just a volume pedal when he played with the Dwarves at Download Festival last year...

*edit*
I'm slightly put off my what *looks* like areally wide string spacing. Mebbe it's just that hooj bridge that makes it look that way?
Possibly, though I think camera perspective and how they took the photo might be making it look wider than it is. Never been much of a bongo fan but that one does look sweet! Ash
23. Standard and drop D in my main band. Eb for the guitar w***ery band I'm in. Doesn't matter to me though, just stick with my 5er
24. Good lord That's a helluva hit that's taken, it's always sad to see a good bass go down I'm now slightly worried myself now, I've just sent a mixer to Copenhagen with parcelforce :S . Luckily it's below £150 in value and it's boxed with ridiculous amounts of bubble wrap but still... This sucks, I hope everything works out for you, Ash
