I have an older Rockbass Corvette (not $$ though). It's a great instrument and has become my go to bass. Here's the but I bought mine S/H (brand new mine would have cost £350 approx). If I had £600 to spend I'd definitely go for a S/H German Warwick. There's nothing at all wrong with the bass I've got...well, apart from the colour ...but if I'd had more money available at the time I would have probably bought something else. But I didn't and in some ways glad I didn't.

Got 2 basses, play both - but one more than the other.

Um, well, it's not pixallated but I can't see any hats. I can make out a bass, the faint outline of whom I assume is you Dave but it's all a little obscured by a sort of green mist.

You don't look pixellated to me Dave. There are others who seem to have lost there avatars completely though.

Probably languishing in the pit of disspear I've only been playing for 2 years, I now refer to my late teens/early 20's as the period when I owned a bass I've realised that I knew absolutely nothing and was terrible. So I've improved My playing is regularly described as 'solid'. That'll do me.

On my profile I've got a big green box that's got '1' and 'neutral' in it. What does it mean? And perhaps 'Site news/issues' should be hidden, the outside world will think we're all technical idiots if they read this thread AAAGGGHHH! a pop up box that says '1 reply added'. Added where? To what? I'm off to have a lie down.

I must have missed it Looks good, clean and tidy and all. My only concern is that non-members seem to be able to access our profiles and info that was previously not visible to the outside world.

There are a couple of songs being suggested that would sound better using those very low notes so I thought about stringing my Ibanez SR300 to BEAD. Are there any factors I need to look out for/consider? Maybe things like action, set up etc. Also with the Ibbies skinny neck are there any issues here? I've never strung to BEAD before so was just wondering if there was anything I should sort of, look out for as it were.
