1.
Don't worry, they're all Photoshopped. It doesn't look like that really.
It's actually white with a maple neck isn't it Great looking bass....
 2. The band may have been able to do things differently in order to have lost less/break even or maybe see a small profit. However, what it showed is what I've read elsewhere, touring is very expensive. The only people making money from tours are the ones who were successful under the old model. For new bands, this supposed new model of making anything from tours is a myth. This becomes an even bigger problem if your fan base is predominantly abroad. The economics of touring abroad and be profitable for new bands....?
 3. There seems to be a trend lately with people I've been playing with not to wear any shoes...it's not something that sits well with me so I've tended to move on :/
 4. The best bargains are on basschat... Every day is Black Friday.
 5.
I don't need to tune my bass - the shop did it for me when I bought it
It is a national scandal how many basses, neigh instruments, are clearly being sold out of tune.
 6. People always look stunned when I tell them how much these basses are. They expect them to be a lot more expensive
 7. Lovely looking bass. Although I'm biased, I've got a TRBX504 in the black, and it's my go to bass
 8. When I click on the link the page says they don't have it in stock. That might be because Ampeg have revamped the range and these older ones may no longer be available...they now look fugly
 9.
I didn't SAY I don't like Fenders, I just said there are better basses out there!
I was simply pointing out that if you alligned them vertically you'd get much better dispersion...
 10. I'm shocked that so many of you are watching commercial television...you uncouth lot.
 11.
Has anyone actually read what the OP wrote? He's not asking you to answer here, but to PM or email him ...
Nobody reads anything properly, and it's not just kids
 12.
Go and see some new bands at small (less than 500 capacity) venues and you'll find the bass sound far more satisfactory.
I only get to gigs at smaller venues and 9 times out of 10 the sound is dreadful. In the last 12 months I'd say only 2 bands I've seen had a good sound and that was probably explained by the fact they brought their own engineers. Otherwise it's the usual problems of poor mixes, crap PA's etc etc...and most new bands that have a guitarist and drummer in them still seem to think they have to play at volumes to make the audiences ears start to bleed.
 13.
There was a nasty period of PF500's going bang. Seems to have been cured now. 2 years warranty through the retailer (technically 6 but tough to claim after 2). The retailer may well go to Polar but it's their responsibility in the first instance.
Yes, technically it can be up to 6 years for a warranty. My brother found this out when his hard drive failed on his 4 year old laptop and was repaired by the manufacturer, for free under this. Those horrible nasty people at the EU again giving consumers rights
 14.
Oh, and the biggest problem I had shifting my S12T was if I rolled it too fast by the top handle it'd go into a speed wobble...
You need to get your tracking and wheel alignment looked at
 15.
"Is it really as simple as that? People with Markbass amps don't like Barefaced cabs?" No it's not Jack. I'm very happy with my S12T / LMII rig. PS - my handles are showing a little wear & tear but my shins remain unblemished.
We'll need pictures of your legs, shins in particular, otherwise we don't believe you.
 16.
I seem to have hit a nerve......
Not at all. I neither own, or haved owned a BF cab, nor have I one on order or looking to do so. I think it would be reasonable to say you are one of BFs harshest critics on the forum and I think it's valuable, and only fair, to know from where this criticism is founded. From a personal perspective, as someone who may or may not buy a BF, I would much prefer to read the pros and cons from first hand accounts of those who have owned and gigged them
 17.
Chose not to go with a 'project' I was looking at a few weeks ago and was totally blanked. No texts, emails, nothing. Bit childish if you ask me.
Na, na, ne, na, naaaaa
 18. ...don't they get 'umpy?!?!? I'm sort drifting between bands at the moment and have turned down a few 'bands', 'projects', call them what you will. Anybody would have thought I'd pee'd in someone's beer the response from a few people. Got to laugh
 19. ...and they all (however many that is) had issues?
 20.
Did someone mention feet falling off?
I'm assuming you're someone who has owned a BF cab which needed a replacement handle or the feet fell off.
 21. The Retro Two10, as described on the BF website, is a ported cab that is made to sound like a sealed cab. At a guess it'll look like the majority of all other cabs, a rectangular black box...doesn't make for exciting photography IMO, so no need for pictures of it really.
 22. Lozz and Beedster always seem to buy quality gear, they're happy with the Barefaceds they've bought, , speaks for itself to me...and I wouldn't describe them as fan boys either. Not liking the the finish or sound of these cabs is a matter of personal taste. There are numerous members on BC that dislike cabs finished in carpet, we don't however have threads questioning the quality of MarkBass products on that basis (who incidentally seem to use the same handles).
