1. Just make sure the feet are firmly secured
 2.
I didn't SAY I don't like Fenders, I just said there are better basses out there!
I was simply pointing out that if you alligned them vertically you'd get much better dispersion...
 3. I'm shocked that so many of you are watching commercial television...you uncouth lot.
 4.
Has anyone actually read what the OP wrote? He's not asking you to answer here, but to PM or email him ...
Nobody reads anything properly, and it's not just kids
 5.
Go and see some new bands at small (less than 500 capacity) venues and you'll find the bass sound far more satisfactory.
I only get to gigs at smaller venues and 9 times out of 10 the sound is dreadful. In the last 12 months I'd say only 2 bands I've seen had a good sound and that was probably explained by the fact they brought their own engineers. Otherwise it's the usual problems of poor mixes, crap PA's etc etc...and most new bands that have a guitarist and drummer in them still seem to think they have to play at volumes to make the audiences ears start to bleed.
 6.
There was a nasty period of PF500's going bang. Seems to have been cured now. 2 years warranty through the retailer (technically 6 but tough to claim after 2). The retailer may well go to Polar but it's their responsibility in the first instance.
Yes, technically it can be up to 6 years for a warranty. My brother found this out when his hard drive failed on his 4 year old laptop and was repaired by the manufacturer, for free under this. Those horrible nasty people at the EU again giving consumers rights
 7. Wot Pete said
 8.
Oh, and the biggest problem I had shifting my S12T was if I rolled it too fast by the top handle it'd go into a speed wobble...
You need to get your tracking and wheel alignment looked at
 9.
"Is it really as simple as that? People with Markbass amps don't like Barefaced cabs?" No it's not Jack. I'm very happy with my S12T / LMII rig. PS - my handles are showing a little wear & tear but my shins remain unblemished.
We'll need pictures of your legs, shins in particular, otherwise we don't believe you.
 10.
I seem to have hit a nerve......
Not at all. I neither own, or haved owned a BF cab, nor have I one on order or looking to do so. I think it would be reasonable to say you are one of BFs harshest critics on the forum and I think it's valuable, and only fair, to know from where this criticism is founded. From a personal perspective, as someone who may or may not buy a BF, I would much prefer to read the pros and cons from first hand accounts of those who have owned and gigged them
 11.
Chose not to go with a 'project' I was looking at a few weeks ago and was totally blanked. No texts, emails, nothing. Bit childish if you ask me.
Na, na, ne, na, naaaaa
 12. ...don't they get 'umpy?!?!? I'm sort drifting between bands at the moment and have turned down a few 'bands', 'projects', call them what you will. Anybody would have thought I'd pee'd in someone's beer the response from a few people. Got to laugh
 13. ...and they all (however many that is) had issues?
 14.
Did someone mention feet falling off?
I'm assuming you're someone who has owned a BF cab which needed a replacement handle or the feet fell off.
 15. The Retro Two10, as described on the BF website, is a ported cab that is made to sound like a sealed cab. At a guess it'll look like the majority of all other cabs, a rectangular black box...doesn't make for exciting photography IMO, so no need for pictures of it really.
 16. Lozz and Beedster always seem to buy quality gear, they're happy with the Barefaceds they've bought, , speaks for itself to me...and I wouldn't describe them as fan boys either. Not liking the the finish or sound of these cabs is a matter of personal taste. There are numerous members on BC that dislike cabs finished in carpet, we don't however have threads questioning the quality of MarkBass products on that basis (who incidentally seem to use the same handles).
 17.
'Pinning' wouldn't help; all that's required is to 'follow' the topic, with one of the options ('Instantly' etc...), and be sure that the Notifications Options in 'My Settings' are ticked for either 'Email' or 'Notification List' (or both..!). Any future posts to the topic will thus be brought to your attention. Hope this helps.
I personally find the notification list on any of my mobile devices absolutely useless. Tap on notifications and it won't load, it just hangs. I've never been able to access the list on the mobile site...and i don't want email notifications they just clog up my in box. Even on the desktop site the notification list can take ages to load. (and that's on a mac, pc using various browsers, the experience is the same).
 18. I saw him play live twice, many moons ago. Absolutely brilliant concerts. His guitarist, Keith Scott is not too shabby a player
 19. Reet lursh! Very nice indeed, not stop posting clips and pics or I'm going to end up a jibbering wreck of unrequited GAS ...I might suggest that song to might mate who wants to start a band 'doing something a bit heavier...'
 20. Stayed up and watched it last night, very good programme. Really interesting to watch how Jack Bruce played, very much a style of his own. Great tone as well (I liked it). Ginger Baker, unfortunately, reinforced his reputation. He seems to have a very different take on 'history'.
 21. Why do I bother? Gets me out the house....
 22.
Guess this brings out the old what's best the technically superior player who is the commensurate weekend warrior/bedroom player or the multi multi multi millionaire in a global band who hacks at the bass?
Not really. Most estimates put Clayton's 'net worth' at $150m...which is somewhat behind Marcus Miller who is worth approx $215m. I'll take brilliant musician who is also minted over the slightly less minted hack any day.
 23. I'm shocked that Clayton a) had lessons and b.) possibly got worse as a result.... or am I ?
 24.
In 2007 I had a warning for using the word 'tits' on TB. ped
They weren't aware you were a keen ornithologist then? I find TB too big and unwieldy, that and sarcasm is frowned upon.
 25. He's been putting these types of covers out for a few years now, he used to post them on here. At first one thinks 'wow, how awesome! ' then the novelty fades. Then it's just some dude slapping to every song under the sun. As you can tell it did little for me. That's not to say he's not a very good bass player, I just didn't like it.
