1.
Bloody hell mate, you are highly perceptive. Didn't think anyone would pick up my cheeky play on words
You weren't discreet enough obviously *I've already got my coat on
 2.
What is all this crap? I'm getting hot MILFs and lonely Texas wives following me on Soundcloud. I can mute them, but there seems no simple way of reporting these rogues to Soundcloud. Wot gives?
Stop downloading MILF porn then this won't happen
 3.
Easy, Nige. The velvet hammer is to hand!
How times have changed. We used to get threatened with a smack around the face with one of Ped's unlaundered socks. I feel we've certainly gone up
 4.
For starters, you should learn to understand what the tonic is and where the chord series begins. The piece is in Gb. You're starting on VI. You should also mark how many beats each cord plays. That will clarify where the changes come. e.g Gb///I////IEbm///I/// etc. Secondly, a B has the same notes as a Abm7. What determines the actual chord 99% of time is the bass note. As a bassist it's imperative to hear that. In this case, the bass is playing an Ab.
I know the song is in Gb, if you read the original post I'm referring to the end of the song where, approximately, the band start playing an Eb. I apologise, however, I thought most BCers were, like Molan, fairly savvy and wouldn't require a full chart to gauge an opinion. I'll bear it in mind next time I post a question like this. B and Abm7 have the same notes? Does B have an Ab in it?. Despite that I can't remember mentioning Abm7 and your point about the bass is playing an Ab doesn't precisely explain where. Perhaps you should have marked how many beats the chord played and clarified where it was being played.
The last 3 chords of the of song sounds like a vanilla major key IV V I turnaround so I'll vote for the first version too.
Cheers mate.
 5.
I thought it was a bloke.

I did, too - oops!
You 2 should be worried
 6.
We play Ebm, Abm, B, Db, Gb Ebm, B, Db, Gb No idea if that's correct though!
That's what I think it is, and it seems to fit perfectly when you play it against the record. Thanks Barry
I used to gig it all the time a few years back, can't remember it at all now. Not much help, am I?
Memorable bass line then...
 7. There is a difference of opinion in my covers band about the last sung part of this song and what the chords to it are. It's the part that starts with " Over and in, last call for sin...." etc On the one hand you have those who think it's Ebm, Abm, B, Db, Gb Ebm, B, Db, Gb Then there are those who think it goes, Ebm, B, Abm, Db, Gb Ebm, Abm, B, Gb. Opinions? Ta
 8. It'd be interesting to see what sort of 'greeting' he gets from any bass players who read the comment who he then works with...
 9. Dave Vader used to be in one (still deps occasionally for them I think).
 10. My Yamaha and Ibanez are similarish in looks I suppose. I'd play either in any band, regardless of genre etc.
 11.
True, but it is easier to wing it on bass than on guitar.
...because no one takes any notice of a bass player for a start
 12. Poor guy, fancy being demoted to second guitar
 13. Just watched the entire programme on iPlayer, it was a struggle. A few times I nearly gave up. Nothing on there of any interest.
 14. Must be someone 'under the hood' having a tweaks, there are a few strange phenomena at the moment For example, if I scroll down not this page is sort of doubled.
 15.
It'll never Cajon!
You forgot your coat
 16. I used to have a Rumble 350, it handled small venues with ease. Good range of tones and a good range of features. A couple of other basschatters have them.
 17. Not a problem I've been afflicted with

 19. The BX500 looks very appealing for the money, and the Micro head for that matter.
 20. 20+ years ago when I first picked up a bass I used to really want a Warwick. They used to be stocked in my local music shop and they just looked 'it' for me. However, having tried them and owning a Rockbass Corvette I found I don't get on with how they hang and I really dislike the fat necks. They've got a great sound but to be honest I can get something similar, and something I actually prefer from the Yamaha I now own. So I no longer yearn for a Warwick. I also noticed that even at Mansons the other day there were none there...they had Zon's and some other expensive brands but I didn't see any Warwicks.
 21.
I don't quite see how a Hoover will help.
Perhaps it's turning into a fetish thread
 22.
Erotic image.
Think Audrey Hepburn
