[/quote] Your nailed them + contoured body Therr is something about those 4003s I hardly can explain. Got few Regular 4003 in my hands, and I always found them uncomfortable to play (binding of the neck, body shape, ...). The rest is a question of taste.

Trade +/- cash are welcome Hi Guys, I am interested to trade or sale a recently acquired 4003s Rickenbacker. This is a sweet bass in a very good shape. Fireglo finish, 2 piece neck showing some flames, thin and fast neck. Frets are in good shape, and neck is really straight. Currently strung with thomastik JF344Flats with a low action. I have a treble pickup bakelite fill installed at the moment but original cover is provided. Bass weights 4.15kg and is complete with its OSHC in good shape.
