14.
It might be my eyes, but it looks a little dark for LPB.
I can only agree with you, I was not sure when I got the bass. Hard to say until you see a real 70' LPB finish form fender. I though that reranch was selling the closest color compared to original fender Obviously a lot of variation could happen depending on the lacquer and aging process: http://www.reranch.com/gallery/lpbmgreen.htm http://www.reranch.com/gallery/martylpbm.htm http://www.reranch.com/gallery/lake_placid_blue.htm cheers P
 15. Hi Guys, here advertised is my 73' PBass, Got it 2 Months ago, and realized that I am a jazz neck guy... The bass looks fantastic, plays great and sounds really punchy. According to the previous seller, all parts are 72-75 correct time period. Pots, pickups date 73, then I have extra pictures unmounted neck if required. However, I doubt pickguard and pickup ashtray are from that era. Neck is in very good state, fretwear but no major damage. Nitro finish is good, but Lacquer is missing in the upper part of the back of the head. Light fretbuzz there and there but nothing major. I would descibre action as low/medium. Body had been refinished in "original" lake placid blue over a white nitro base. All nitro paintings/coating are from Reranch (http://www.reranch.com/). 2 tiny scratches can be seen on the body (few mm) as seen on the pict. overall body weight is rather light (3,8-3,9 kg). Comes with a non original SKB hard case Bass is in France, but I am ready to ship in the EU. ****** Withdraw ****** Sound test, extra pictures and Ref are available upon simple request. Last, I would consider trades on maple board, fretted 4 strings Stingray or JazzBass (RI, or modern area (mid 90 to current)) thanks for looking, here are pictures:
