MIA mate, but with a JJ pickup set as opposed to the standard PJ 👍

Mate, come and have a go on THE Jag if you like? It sounds amazing. Not really a typical jazz sound, much more versatile. The electronics are not noisy. I just took it along to a recording session with a few other basses for variety and ended up playing it on every track. Jags are awesome.

Phil Jones BG400 Combo - £225 - *SOLD*

Ultra rare 32" medium scale Squier JV Jazz, made in Japan 1982-1984. This is a wonderful vintage instrument that plays and sounds immense. It has an almost piano quality to the tone which is especially surprising considering the shorter scale length, downsized body and light weight (around 3.5kg). It comes with a cool period correct leather-ish padded gig bag. Collection from Margate or I can post if required.

Phil Jones BG400 combo with an intermittent fault. Every so often it produces a crackle/static sound. I used it for about an hour last night and it was absolutely fine, but it's happened several times in the past so it's being sold as spares or repair. Also note that the aux input isn't working but the headphone output is fine. It's still a beautiful amp with an incredible sound that belies it's diminutive size. Collection from Margate ideally.

Neck Profile Modification? Recommendations?
jay-syncro replied to jay-syncro's topic in Repairs and Technical
I've actually acclimatised to the chunkier neck and am loving the sound, so I might just leave it as-is. Thanks all, as you were. -

It's a bolt-on so could definitely send it minus body, hardware etc. -
Neck Profile Modification? Recommendations?
jay-syncro replied to jay-syncro's topic in Repairs and Technical
Thanks for the comment. I think I'd personally prefer to leave it to a professional in this case as I envisage quite a bit of wood being removed. Are there any Basschat Luthiers that would tackle such a job? -
Hi all, I have a bass that I like but I think I'd like it more if the neck was a bit thinner front to back. Does anyone have experience of getting a neck re-profiled (if that's even the right term), and if so, who did it and were you happy with the end result? Cheers 🍻

A pair of PJB C2 cabs complete with the highly illusive and highly expensive (!) PJB carry bags. These cabs seem to defy the laws of physics with the amount of volume and bottom end they can produce. A pair of them is truly a thing to behold. I did a dep gig recently where the guitarist said my rig sounded great going through the PA. He looked in disbelief when I informed him that I wasn't DI'd 😁 The cabs and bags are in excellent condition. Collection from Margate/meet-up ideally, or postage at cost.
