  1. Ah okay. That makes sense as they are very quiet noise-wise but it's also surprising to me as they actually sound good! I've never liked any hum cancelling jazz pickups I've tried in the past. Good old Rog.
  2. Single coils as far as I'm aware.. They certainly sound like a jazz bass should.
  3. Bump for some *slightly* better photos. Now £1395 👍
  4. Barefaced Big Baby T up for grabs in great condition. As with most Barefaced products it sounds great, weighs next to nothing and is loud as hell. This 3-way cab preceded the Big Baby II and is very similar sounding, although I'd be tempted to say that this has more low end capabilities.. absolutely monstrous! Here's a link to more from Barefaced - https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/big-baby.htm Collection from Margate or I can box it up if you'd like to arrange a courier.
  5. A long shot trade idea from me.. A nice upright piano! Edit, piano now purchased 🙃
  6. Dr Green Bass Verb and Doctors note pedals up for grabs. Both in very good condition with Velcro on the bottom. They can be powered via an internal 9v battery (not included) or any typical pedal power supply. I'm after £30 each of £50 for the pair.
  7. This is a great sounding preamp/DI with a really nice headphone amp built in. It also has a distortion channel, switchable IR cab sims and is fully programmable via the Nux software. It's in great condition and comes with the box and instructions. I've just updated the firmware to the latest version. Here's a link to the manufacturers website for more info https://www.nuxefx.com/melvin-lee-davis.html
  8. As shots go, that is a long one 😁 I have an SM58 in a drawer somewhere and I'm not totally sure how it works. Needless to say, your kit may be somewhat wasted on me. Thanks for the offer though.
  9. Yes that's the Dragonfly forearm contour, Danny mentions it in the video. It's easier to make out on this bass - https://bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Dragonfly_FAT-J5.html
  10. It's 47mm at the nut and the string spacing is 18mm.
  11. Me too. I've just realised I really like buying & trying basses. Quelle surprise.
  12. It is indeed. I did the same only I have no self control 😬
  13. Dragonfly Fat J5 Jazz up for grabs. This bass is absolutely awesome in terms of build quality, looks and sound. To get the full lowdown and hear this actual bass in the hands of a master, check out the video below. The Bass is 5 string custom Jazz Bass, Alder Body, 5 piece maple neck with walnut stringers, the headstock is capped in Maple and the fingerboard is flamed maple. The Bass is handmade and the finish and build quality is second to none, up there with Atelier, Xotic etc. The hardware is all high end GOTOH, the pick ups are hand wound Dragonfly customs, flush finished in walnut casings. The pre-amp is the Harrys Engineering DFBP-3, LOW/MID/TREBLE boost/cut, with mid notch. There is a mid cut/boost switch, active/passive select, master tone, master volume and balance. It's and absolute beast. It's in very good condition but does have a few small knocks as shown in the photos. Collection from Margate or buyer to arrange courier etc.
  14. Thanks mate 👍 Just to confirm, this isn't one of the RSD Metro Express basses! This is a pre-warwick made in Japan bass..
