Stone valve preamp, hand wired in the UK in the 70's I believe. The volume control can be switched in as a signal boost or to drive the front of your amp a bit harder, and the tone control can be varied to go from a deep dub tone (fully anticlockwise) to more bright and zingy (fully clockwise). It's a cool unit, also sounds good with guitar! It comes with the original box but no manual. The photo of the manual was sourced online. £70 👍🏻

That's the plan. I generally have an easy-come-easy-go approach to basses but I've realised that the Moollon would be very difficult if not impossible to replace. Together with the fact that it's awesome means it's staying put 👍🏻

I'm keeping the Moollon 👌🏻 Moon and Windmill still available.

Thanks mate. I've had quite a few Moon JJ4's over the years but this is the first with passive electronics, it sounds phat!

Nobody needs a jazz bass where a jazz bass don't fit.

I've done this badly. Can it be moved, mods? 1000 apologies.

2 x PJB Cab 47's complete with covers - D400 now sold This rig has barely been used and is in immaculate condition. I've used older Phil Jones amps with the 5'' speakers and much prefer the 7'' variants. They still have the trademark PJB clarity but seem to have more balls in the low end and a nicer tonal character overall. I've used a single Cab 47 with the D400 for a pub gig and it easily kept up with a 6 piece band, quite remarkable given how tiny it is! I have all the original boxes, packaging, manuals etc. so postage is possible. £250 each Better photos to follow ASAP.
