  1. It's the 4 ohm version. I've been gigging this for a while in a couple of different bands and rarely get past 9 o'clock on the master. It's a beast.
  2. MIJ Squier JV Jazz in amazing condition! This bass was made on 23rd Mar 1983 and has been extremely well looked after in its life. It's all original minus the neck volume pot which has been replaced at some point. The neck is an absolute dream, the small vintage frets and the radius of the dark Rosewood board make it a pleasure to play. The pickups sound full and punchy and can do everything from zingy slap to full on funk on the bridge pickup. These basses really do deserve the hype, they are beautiful instruments that capture that pre CBS magic at a fraction of the cost.
  3. It's the 12'' version. I've had both and this is the one to have. It's much smaller, lighter and punchier.
  4. Andy/Shambo recently purchased my Fender Mustang and it was a thoroughly pleasant affair. Deal in confidence. Hope you're still loving it, mate πŸ‘πŸ»
  5. I can include a hard case and postage on this, something I'm after has become available!
  6. Best bass combo ever. This one is in great condition and works perfectly. To the uninitiated, it's as close to an all-valve sound as a hybrid amp gets. It's compact, lightweight, beautifully designed and outrageously loud and 'full' sounding. It also has a whisper quiet fan (noisy fans are common with these amps), which is nice. It comes with the Mesa ext. cab cover so the handle hole is in a different place, but still does a sterling job.

  8. I agree, it's why I bought it 😎
  9. Agreed. The colour's not that bad really 😎
  10. I'm ideally after a sale but feel free to Pm me.

  12. I'm ideally after a sale but you can try me?
  13. Thanks, that seems to be the general consensus 😁
  14. Absolutely. Although 'in theory' you could play other musical styles on this bass, it would be morally wrong to do so.
  15. Excellent, I guess Fender have proven once again that you don't have to let facts get in the way of a good reissue 😁
  16. Here's Stu using a P in '94 πŸ‘ŒπŸ» https://youtu.be/sbyvseyt6AE
  17. Ah yes, that seems more like it. Thanks.
  18. According to the serial number it was made between 1995 and 1996 which is remarkable given the condition! It's all totally standard πŸ‘πŸ»
  19. They are generally quite heavy, often 5kg+! This one is a rare beast in that respect.
  20. It's 4.1kg or just over 9lbs πŸ‘πŸ»
  21. Next up is my Moon JJ4 from 1999. This bass is an absolute stunner that incorporates beautiful woods, great (Moon branded) hardware, top notch build quality and the much sort after Moon Blackbird preamp and original Moon pickups. Needless to say It sounds amazing and plays effortlessly. The only negative is that it's had a thumb rest installed at some point so there are three (no, I don't know either) additional holes between the pickups. I'm sure these could be filled by a decent luthier, or you could just fit another thumb rest. I'll be sorry to see this one go but alas, I have too many basses! It comes with an old hard case so postage isn't a problem. I'm located in Margate.
  22. I'm offering up my beautiful short scale Fender Mustang '64 Reissue. This was made in Japan and is exceptionally well finished, in fact It's in a different league to the new American Mustang. It's super light and the 30'' scale really is a joy to play. It's in mint condition and comes with a gig bag. It's recently been setup with a new set of Dunlop Super Brights and it sounds magnificent. Collection from Margate, postage is possible.
  23. That can be arranged 😎
  24. It's *marginally* less pink by night.. Still pink though.
