  1. Hi mate, the Sabre is an absolute beast. It has a smaller, contoured body and thinner neck than the Ray, so it's lighter, nicer to play and massively more versatile sound wise. Plus it has this neck 😍
  2. Ashdown Retroglide 800w head with the classic 12 band EQ as used in the early Trace Elliot days. This amp uses the latest Icepower power module as seen in the majority of the current top end 800-900w amps but with a ultra clean preamp. If that's not your thing you can add a preamp for a different character. I've used this with my EBS Microbass for a more vintage sound on occasion. It's the limited edition white version and is in excellent condition. Amp is located in Margate 👍🏻
  3. Hi Richard, there isn't a manual but it's very intuitive/self explanatory to use. Here's a link to a review from Sound On Sound which includes some tech specs etc. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.soundonsound.com/reviews/bassics-bpa-1%3famp
  4. Bump for price reduction with postage included 😎
  5. One of the few occasions this combo got gigged. Margate Soul Festival, playing outside with no PA support and it didn't break a sweat. Such a powerful sound for something so small and light.

I've recently purchased a bass from Xavier and it was a great hassle free deal. The bass was extremely well packaged and just as described. Thanks mate 👍🏻
  7. Fender Rumble Stage 800 combo including the foot switch and Roqsolid cover. This is a great amp that is insanely loud and weighs next to nothing. The bottom end really needs to be heard to be appreciated. I bought this new and have used it for a few gigs over the summer and it has been fantastic. The on board foot switchable effects, amp models and tuner work brilliantly and resulted in me leaving my pedal board at home. It has a few nicks in the tolex (which occurred whilst waiting for the cover to arrive!) but is in very good condition overall. Original Fender packaging, manuals etc available so postage is doable.
  8. Fantastic studio grade preamp designed by Malcom Toft and hand built in the UK. Bass Direct link for the full spec - http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Bassics.html It sounds glorious and is built like a tank.
  9. Thanks. I've had lots of interest but it's still available.
  10. Houses are overrated, basses are much more useful 👍
  11. It's 4.3kg/9.4lb. Ideally after a straight sale but trades could be an option. Feel free to Pm me.
  12. It was made on the 21st Aug 2001. Almost exactly 17 years old and yet still minty fresh.
  13. When you want to call your new bass Batman but you know the man won't allow it..
  14. Awesome Fender Jazz made at the Fullerton plant in 1984. This bass sounds amazing with a slap tone to die for. The pickups were still mounted in the 70's position at this stage which facilitates the fat MM slap tone. It has seen some action and shows signs of use, but as with all old Fenders it's all the better for it. It's set up with a lowish action and it plays effortlessly. Bass is located in Margate.
  15. Thanks for all the comments chaps. The new custom shop pricing is a bit mad, and I doubt they could make one that looks three grand better than this one! I've just discovered you can buy the cool new wooden tuners directly from Warwick. They're only about 12 quid each!
  16. Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman in the gorgeous French Violet finish with an outrageous flamed Maple top. This bass is in exceptional condition with barely any play wear and no dreaded buckle rash so often seen on Warwicks. This particular model has the Seymour Duncan preamp fitted as standard as opposed to the MEC variant. It has a coil tap for the humbucker which gives you series, parallel and single coil options which when combined with the three band preamp, open up a world of tonal possibilities. It also has the slap contour mode (which is adjustable via the internal pots) when you pull out the volume knob. It comes with the excellent Warwick gig bag, original Warwick user manual and a period correct Warwick catalogue 😎 I'm looking for £850 collected from Margate. These appear to be about £4k new now! Note: It could use a new set of strings if you're into the new string zing thing. It currently sounds fat and funky which is my preference.
