  1. The Markbass aesthetics have put me off buying their products for a good decade now. They just look awful. They generally sound good though. I had the new Laney Nexus 1x12 combo for a while and it was outstanding. Absolutely packed with features, great build quality, great tone and classy aesthetics. If it wasn't for my GAS issues I'd still have it 🤔
  2. A set of Hotrod Vintage Precision Pickups complete with plenty of cloth covered wire and a complete set of mounting screws. Purchased for a project but never installed.
  3. EBS Multicomp true bypass version in mint condition. No velcro on bottom. £70 posted
  4. I had a white one of these and an Ashdown rig for over five years and was totally happy with it. Then I discovered Basschat 🤔
  5. USA Eden WT400 Traveler head including a custom made Castle Flightcase. This is a seriously punchy head with one of the best valve preamps I've used. It's compact, not too heavy, very loud and in great condition. It's also pretty much silent in operation, something I've grown to appreciate after using various class D amps that sound like a hairdryer. I've had the Eden for over a year which is about four lifetimes to the heavily GAS afflicted 👀 Collection from Margate or can post if required 👍
  6. An undercover MIJ Fender for Squier VM money? I can include postage in the asking price 👍
  7. I have some sturdy packaging if anyone fancies this and isn't local 👍
  8. I'll take a cheeky offer on this if you're able to collect from Margate?
  9. It's 1 3/4'' wide at the nut, however it's quite shallow front to back so feels pretty agile. It's not at all unwieldy like 50's style Fenders.
  10. It's all very odd, ebay is becoming seriously hard work. Thanks for the bump 👍
  11. The Bartolinis are passive. The originals were sold elsewhere.
  12. It's 8ohms, it's also on hold pending collection tomorrow.
  13. A beautiful Mike Lull PT4 with Bartolini pickups and Sadowsky preamp up for grabs, recently purchased on the forum. Here's the link to the original thread with some fantastic pictures of the bass. https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/324798-sold-mike-lull-pt4-with-extra/?tab=comments#comment-3522862 I bought the bass without the Lull pickups mentioned, they were sold separately. The current combination of Sadowsky preamp and Bartolini pickups has to be heard to be appreciated. From chunky passive P bass tones on the neck pickup with the tone rolled off, to outrageous slap sounds with some EQ boost, to the fattest J bridge pickup sound imaginable . This bass has got it covered. Included are two alternative tortoishell pickguards for your enjoyment. The build quality is as high as it gets and it really feels special in the hands. I guess that's why they are £3k+ new! This bass is unbelievably good, a truly reluctant sale.
  14. OK, I can let this go for £925 posted to your door with the new Fender Vintage bridge fitted. That's an absolute bargain for a bass of this pedigree.
  15. I picked this up recently on a bit of a whim, it's great but it's overkill for me. I understand that the Big Baby uses the same drivers as those used in the Fearless cabs, so you know your in for a treat. It's in great condition minus the usual Barefaced handle issue (the rubber grip is tatty but works perfectly), and comes with a Roqsolid cover. Bargain alert, £250 collected from Margate.
