  1. Thanks guys, it's a bit of a mystery why this is still here 🤔
  2. Also available from Andertons with a metal grille 🤑 https://www.andertons.co.uk/gallien-krueger-legacy-115-800-watt-bass-combo
  3. This is a great combo that is fully featured, lightweight and extremely capable. I no longer need this much power so it's up for grabs. Comes with the original foot switch and a padded Hotcovers cover. Manufacturers blurb- Gallien Krueger's Legacy Series is the culmination of fifty years of design, innovation and industry experience. Building on the foundation laid by GK's legendary 800RB in 1980, the Legacy Series captures that same aesthetic whilst bringing its own unique character to the table. The Gallien Krueger Legacy 115 is a high-powered bass amp combo that's ready for small-to-medium sized gigs, the home studio, and everything in between! Comprehensive I/O — All Legacy combos come with a complete patch bay. The balanced DI has selectable pre/post and ground lift switches, the headphones and aux in are 1/8" jacks to accommodate the most common products, and there are tuner and send/return jacks for your pedals too! Trim Control — Use this to get the best level match between your instrument and the Legacy. When this is adjusted correctly, the clip light will only flash occasionally to indicate that you have the perfect setup. Modern Power Amp — Legacy combos use the latest available digital power amps with switch-mode supplies. These deliver a punchy, driving sound at a fraction of the weight and power consumption of analogue power systems. They are safe down to 2 Ohms and operate from 100V to 240V mains. Lightweight Construction — Enclosures are made from plywood, with ample bracing to form a robust box. The interior is covered with damping material to absorb high frequencies from the rear of the speaker, which prevents them from coming out the port and interfering with the high frequencies from the front of the speaker. Neodymium Speaker — Legacy combos incorporate neodymium woofers designed and manufactured by GK, renowned for their feather-light weight without sacrificing performance or "punchiness". Cooling System — Legacy combos are cooled using two fans that are temperature controlled. At low temperatures the fans are off, as the amplifier temperature rises the fans come on slowly and run faster the warmer it gets. Status Indicators — Tell you if there is a shorted output (oc) or overheated (ot) condition. Also, the standby indicator (stby) shows white when the power is off; indicating the mains supply is good. If the input is overdriven, the clip indicator will flash red. Universal Power — Legacy combos operate from 100V to 240V, 50/60Hz mains, so you can take them anywhere in the world and simply plug in. No converters or special supplies required! 4. Ha, I know what you mean. It felt pretty alien to me initially but after a short adjustment period it makes total sense. Now it feels odd going back to 34" scale!
  5. Now £575 Nordstrand Acinonyx in the fantastic LPB finish up for grabs. This is a great, lightweight short scale bass with a MASSIVSE sound! There are loads of videos online that demonstrate the versatility of this instrument, it really can do it all. It even has a great slap sound for those that are into such tomfoolery. *The bass comes with the Nordy Mute BD pics of the actual bass.
  6. I forgot to mention that this comes with a neck pickup cover and an exotic wood ramp.
  7. Next on the block is this lovely Three Dots JB. These are made in Japan by Yoshi Kikuchi who once headed up Sadowsky's Japanese production before Roger's partnership with Warwick. I've owned a couple of Japanese Sadowsky's and this is easily on a par quality wise, but with a more classic aesthetic. The neck in particular is stunning and it's possible to get a very low action without buzz if desired. The tones are as you'd expect from a top end Jazz bass with a fat sounding bridge pickup, warm neck pickup and a killer slap tone. The bass weighs just under 9lbs and comes with a top quality Three Dots gig bag. Unfortunately the rear side of the headstock has taken a whack and there is a small piece of wood missing. Luckily you can't see it from the front so it doesn't detract from the eye catching (and possibly poking *ouch*) headstock. Here's a clip of a similar bass in action -
  8. Thanks. It's the finish that made me pull the trigger. It looks even better in the flesh too!
  9. Might trade for something short scale? Cash either way.
  10. During one of my periodic "I need a 5" phases, I recently purchased this wonderful Ibanez SR 1405 Premium from Anton on Basschat. Here's the thread for more info/pics etc. This bass is absolutely fantastic and visually very striking. The gloss finish sets this apart from other Ibanez basses I've played and really does make it feel like a step up from the natural wood finishes available. It is in immaculate condition and comes with new DR strings. I'll take some pics later but they won't be as good as Anton's!
