1. Had some interest, but nothing concrete. Feel free to hit me with offers/trades etc.
  2. Such beauty. I'd love another one of these but I already have the 5 string version.
  3.
Yay! One up to Fender!! Have a free bump for a really nice bass at an excellent price. Good luck with the sale.
Cheers!
Wish I had the money as it's a really nice looking bass - imagine it sounds pretty good too. Have a bump on me
Cheers, you'd be right there.
This was mine for a while - cracking bass. Has a Redeemer circuit fitted (unless it's been recently removed) http://www.bassdirec...s_Redeemer.html Adds a good £50 or so to the value & sounds great
Thanks for the heads up! I haven't looked to be honest, although Phil did mention that it had an electrical mod now I think about it. I'll check tonight and confirm it's still in place.
  4. Would you consider a trade for my slightly modified Jazz bass? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-TEISCO-NECK-BASS-GUITAR-/290647851470?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item43abf641ce#ht_500wt_1362
  5.
friday night would be great Jay, are you guys gigging in town? Please don't bring the Jazz as I really can't afford it
Not gigging mate, just on the beers. I'll give you a bell at some point on Friday.
  6. Thanks chaps, I'll be sorry to see it go but you know how it is. I've received several PM's from four different countries since Friday, I think I've replied to them all but bare with me if not. I'll aim to get some more pictures up asap for those that are interested.
I have to say that it's the only Jazz Bass I'd consider buying (if I had any money that is). It's quite a special instrument and well worth the cash Jay's asking
Cheers for that Chris, if only you'd see light, eh? I'm about on Friday if you want me to swing by with your DB pickup?
  7.
Sorry Jay, not really into fretless basses. Out of curiosity, how much would postage be on this?
Postage would be around £50 due to the weight and size of the flight case. If only there was an easier way of getting this bad boy around...
  8. Fancy a trade for my balloon bass? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0ydPW7vgTw
  9. Somebody must have a lonely walkabout combo? Or require a beast of a 1x12?
  10. Mesa Boogie 12'' Scout extension cabinet in the rare 8ohm flavour. This is a truly exceptional cab and can quite happily keep up with an excitable drummer. Combine that with it's compact size and very manageable weight, and you're on to a winner. The 10” “Down-Firing” Passive Bass Radiator on these cabs really is effective, and I've found this to be the only 1x12'' cab I've used that's usable on its own. 11. I bought the bass a few years ago from a session player who was clearing out his Fender collection. He had a number of original early 60's guitars and basses (that were out of my price range at the time), and this bass that was constructed from parts he had accumulated over the years. The only bits I can confirm are early 60's Fender are the tuners the bridge and the neckplate. The neck has clay dots and some fairly substantial wear, but the lack of a date stamp means that it's age is unknown. The body has been refinished in Sonic blue at some point, and has endured a fair amount of wear. It also has no signs of a date stamp for obvious reasons. The control plate is modern and contains CTS pots and a switch craft jack. The pickups are of unknown origin but are also well worn. This bass really needs to be seen in the flesh to be appreciated. It's not an immaculate original instrument, but it is a great player with a serious amount of character. For anyone looking for a Jazz that is a bit different, come and check it out. Weight 9 - 9.5 lbs. I'm after £600 with a new Hiscox flight case, but I may consider trades.
  12. I'm putting my Epifani UL2 310 up for sale as I need to free-up some space. The cab is only a few months old (latest series 2 model), and has been gigged around 10 times. It pretty much ticks all the boxes in that it's light (one hand carry if your back works as it should/ you're not a girl), compact and hugely loud. It would seem the Gallery are currently selling them for £849 here I'm after £450 Located in Canterbury, Kent. 13. I've recently sold a Stingray to Andy, and can confirm that he is a gent and a pleasure to deal with. One of the smoothest transactions I've had on Basschat - Recommended!
  14. I've got one of these. It's easily the best head I've used, and I've had a few! This is a bargain.

    Garbev

I've recently completed an amp trade with Garbev. The whole deal was easy with great communication throughout. It was sent quickly and was well packaged. Cheers, Gary.
  16. Mike recently purchased a pedal from me. He paid straight away with zero fuss, top guy to deal with. Recommended.
  17.
PMd
Sold to Mike!
